"Was surprised offer of a early evening meal here from the boyfriend who had come for lunch a few weeks ago.The car park is big enough so no worrying where to park we were lucky as we hadn't booked a table here we got seated and food order you have to do at the bar and pay beforehand which is a good idea as soon as you eaten no waiting around you can just go.The food was really delicious and decent size plates we has the lasagne and chicken pie which was plentiful didn't have room for pudding! The one downside was allowing dogs in which we had a dog near us and it kept barking of which we also heard another table commenting on this that was the only thing we found wrong but it won't stop us going back as food was nice"

Pub is ok staff were pretty good but a poor Sunday lunch. Worst beef I have ever been served, and I'm in my 50's . No taste and so stringy should never have been served

After a long day sailing, we dropped in here for a few drinks and food. Great welcome, fam pub grub menu and lovely wine and beer. Looks great from the outside and on the inside!

Went to Old Ship for our wedding anniversary. Great atmosphere and above great staff. We had the Cajun Chicken together with Sticky Toffee pudding for dessert. Would highly recommend this place for food, value for money and service.

We live close by and visit occasionally with our 2 year old and enjoy the beer and the lovely pub grub. Eating out with a toddler can be...challenging... but we always feel welcome, and the service is great. It's not the cheapest place around, but we've never had a bad meal. Visualizza piatti

16th century pub/restaurant close the beautiful Hamble River. The pub is lovely but be careful if you're tall as the beamed ceilings are very low in places. The food was good and reasonably priced. Service was quick and our server attentive but not intrusive. Well worth a visit especially after a long walk along The Hamble.

Ordered food, some of the meals were awful. Nobody came to check if the food was ok during the meal. They just collected dishes at the end and said they wouldn’t charge us for the food we didn’t enjoy. We ended up driving to the local supermarket to get food for those who didn’t eat. Supposed to be a family holiday meal together Really disappointed.

"Well, I like reviewing and have to say having visited Mother Kelly 's many times since 2008 last night was 'poor ', now.... Maybe it was because we booked for 19:30 after watching a film at the nearby Port Solent, which had plenty of options to dine, but we thought no Mother Kelly 's on way home be just dandy. WRONG... Arrived bang in 19:30 place was ghost town with 3 other tables occupied, two eating one waiting for service, we entered were shown a table in the window (table 4) and chose our food from the menus, (my partner wanted scampi as usual, but a sign on the counter said Sorry NO scampi) do she chose Steak and Ale Pie, after about 10 minutes the solitary waitress came to our table to take our order on a tablet... We ordered asking for the Pie... to be told NO Pies left, So rethink, ahh Fish bites then abd a large Cod and trimmings, thank you, by this time Just us and one other table of patrons remained.... After about 10-15 minutes the food arrived, the fish bites well batter bites with fish is more apt a discription, my fish was okay, but was triple batter.... Obviously end if night for them, nothing in booking to say service stops at 8pm I had the choice of many later times when I booked on The Fork.... Disappointed and much like the Country you actually come to expect the disappointment received..... I have other bookings over the next Month with The Fork.. hopefully those restaurants are better stocked and the food is 'nicer '.... I really hate giving poor reviews but you put your head aboveground and you 'll possibly get shot"
