"in the morning for Sunday dinner today and it was amazing, both meals were breathtaking, the bark was so tender, the gravy rich and tasty with lots of fresh vegetables, dauphinois carrots as well as fry and a Yorkshire doll, all piping hot. the minze pea risotto was so creamy and light with a delicate hauch minze. the desserts are to die for, all homemade, the lemon posset is from this world as the terry’s chocolate orange cheesecake all beautifully presented. very recommend a visit, they will not be disappointed only arrive starving as the portions are plentiful. the staff are friendly and service is efficient. well made jon, ali and the team."

Best Sunday dinner I’ve had in a long time,huge portions,meat was lovely and tender and a great variety of veg,friendly service and reasonable prices,will definitely be eating here again

We have previously had Sunday lunch which was excellent. We went for lunch and was not disappointed. We had a beautifully presented ham salad and desert. Lovely atmosphere, great service and friendly staff.

had a crushed meal last night. despite the really packed pubs, the restaurant was comfortable, cozy and welcoming. great eating and even better service. would not hesitate to go back. the chips were super! steaks cooked to perfection and mouth watering desserts.

We had a wonderful afternoon tea today. It was the best we have had so far. There was a good choice of dainty sandwiches with prawn vol au vonts and sausage rolls and a selection of tiny cakes including jam and cream scones. There was also a choice of coffees or tea and a lovely warm atmosphere.

Jon, Ali team we had such a delicious Sunday roast today ..the beef just melted in the mouth and Jonathan said the pork was top notch and it says it all when your child who is a fussy eater cleans her plate! Syrup sponge and custard did not disappoint either thanks again all we will be back very soon xx

I had a joint suprise baby shower here last week, we had afternoon tea with plenty of savory and sweet little nibbles on the tables, was all very tasty and looked amazing. All staff were polite, and kept checking we had everything, and was lovely to have the log burner going in the tea room too! Defnetly recommend, will be coming again soon

spent the afternoon in buck today for a friend baby shower. fab place! the room was filled with pretty bungting and the table was laid with beautiful china. afternoon tea was so delicious with really delicious sandwiches and cake! super friendly and attentive staff. would be highly recommended and will certainly be for more! thanks for ali xxx
