"So.... I've now had most of the menu.... as I'm a bit of a foodie, I won't lie, after the first couple of weeks teething issues of the new landlord... which I will say was always willing to replace, refund or give an alternative... the team have now nailed the new menu... I can't find fault, no matter how I try... I ordered a blue steak the other day... expecting the usual rare to med/rare most places will actually serve you... NO... I actually got a perfect blue steak!! Not everyone's taste, but perfect for me. The Chips were crispy outside and soft inside... the peppercorn sauce was a fantastic strong and hot (heat not spice) and bursting with flavour!! Well done the six bells team... with this new menu you will surely always be busy. Don't let past reviews hold you back... this place really is worth the visit!! I will definitely be a regular!!"

Came to the six bells for my mums 60th birthday dinner. Atmosphere is amazing, food was amazing! What more can you ask for.. Well done will be coming back

Nice place, staff friendly and reasonably priced with more than enough food per serving. Roast beef is the best out of the roast options we went with, pork was dry so I traded plates

on Thursday evening had an evening meal in the six bells. menu choices were excellent, also for vegetarians. honest, tasty, just 'pub grub' nothing too tasty. both I and my friend enjoyed our meals. very tasty, generous portions and very expensive. best pub menu I had in the old one!

Very nice pleasant staff. A large party were going so we had to pre order not too much of a problem and did 4 days before the lunch , therefore disappointed to get there to be told on arrival that 2 items hadn't been delivered ! Not sure how much of the food is freshly made on the premises .

Had our first roast here today under the new management for fathers day and was not disappointed! The sirloin beef was lovely and tender, roast potatoes were perfect and the cauliflower cheese was amazing! Would highly recommend for a Sunday or any other day come to that, the wings are gorgeous

Had a lovely birthday dinner with a group of 7, everything was perfect! J and Shane went above the standards I expected and made everything fantastic. It's not often we eat at a pub as a family, but this experience has totally changed our perception on pub dinners, will definitely return! Many thanks from Gavin, Sam kids

My first time having Sunday lunch at the Six Bells. Nice welcome. Limited menu which is great in my book as then you know not everything is being cooked from frozen! Staff were on the ball and were friendly and professional. My only slightly negative comment would be that the portions are too big. Great value for money too. Worth a visit

My mum got married yesterday and we help the reception here in the evening,we went in the morning to decorate and set up,the room was lovely anyway!the bar Manager Jay was on hand and super helpful and friendly,literally could not do enough for us. On the actual evening the staff were all so amazing,friendly,efficient super attentive,the food itself was amazing,so much for your money I actually had to bring some of my pizza home(which I enjoyed for my lunch today,still lovely) once again Jay was on hand the whole time and was amazing. 1st time in the pub but definitely will not be our last. Thank you all for making my mum and her new husbands evening so amazing.
