Went for evening meal while stopping for a night away fantastic service from the staff, and the food was really nice, lovely and freshly made. Glad we chose the star.

This restaurant is a popular spot for dining out. Be sure to make a reservation to avoid going hungry. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. They also have a great selection of draft beers. The staff is helpful and friendly.

The pub is pretty basic, with decent service and average starters. However, both of us found the steak to be tough and not worth the £25 price tag. It seems like the pub views steak as a way to make extra profit, rather than focusing on quality.

We arranged to meet some friends here for lunch half-way between them and us. It was a good choice there was plenty of space, there was a warm welcome and service was excellent. The food was excellent also humus and cheddar mushrooms...as starters, roasted salmon, roast duck and steak and ale pie for main courses. It was a very relaxing convivial occasion. Visualizza piatti

that is our second visit, our first in December. this place is fantastic. the staff are so friendly and when they say dog friendly, they really mean it. a small water dish, a bed and a few cookies for my dog. personal helpful, chatty and so friendly. eating is delicious and good price. for a day she visited for her usual menu, which was great and then on Sunday for a roast that was also great. highly recommended. can't wait to go back.

Such a great pub for if you have a dog. We've been a few times when camping/ walking nearby and they are always great. The service is always absolutely above and beyond staff are really great. They're always very welcoming to us and our...dog (dog bed and water provided too). There's a cosy nook for those of us with dogs so you can really relax and a fancier dining room if you don't have dogs. Food is lovely roast was particularly good. Look forward to visiting again!

Went here today with friends and had a lovely lunch. Not busy at all so not a great deal of atmosphere. Hope it’s not all the scary news stories. The tables were well placed out, the service was excellent. We had the croquettes to start..., simply delicious , we often bring them back fro Spanish markets (well did) these we on par. Great wine choices . Mains were all great , the burger was delicious, the salmon a great choice, the sausage and mash amazingly presented. They accommodated the older guests with child sized portion desserts. Love it here the staff were brilliant, as was the food. Well done we will be back, hopefully others will too. Visualizza piatti
