"Myself and the hubby visit the area regularly to stay in our motor home locally, we have been to the pub often for drinks but never eaten here, we decided that we should try the food so went for a Saturday evening meal and a few drinks, on arrival (6pm ish) the pub was pretty quiet, we found a dog friendly table then I went to the bar to get some drinks and a menu, our order was taken for steak pie and gammon both served with chips and peas, after a fairly long wait our meals arrived, both the pie and gammon was ‘ok’ but both meals were served with chips that looked like they’d been cooked more than once and very bitty, no actual whole chips just like the scraps out of the bottom of a frozen bag! Portions were a bit child like too I didn’t even get asked if everything was ok when I went to pay our bill so that kind of says it all to me. All in all we were so disappointed that we left not bothering with dessert or even another drink. Maybe we went on a bad day but very much doubt we will go again which is a shame."

"Our usual choice for fish and chips in Hornsea but VERY disappointed today. Dry bread. Cod was never cod in a million years, thin and grey; large chips were smaller than the small portion. 2 meals NOT worthy of the £15 spent. Very underwhelmed and disappointed and I rarely leave a comment but given your amazing reputation I truly hope this was a one off. Service: Take out"

"We arrived and had to wait 10 minutes for the staff to acknowledge our reservation, despite having made several phone calls and confirming it with the owner. After that, we were taken to a table upstairs in a corner that was quite unpleasant. The tables were too close together; in fact, the staff had to ask other diners to move so they could get past. I couldn’t help but wonder what would happen in case of a fire. The food itself was very mediocre, lacking any real French or Italian flair, which was disappointing. I ordered the crispy chicken breast as a starter, but it arrived without any chicken. When I brought it up, I was informed that’s how it’s served. They did finally exchange it for something else, but overall, it was not a great experience."

"After a busy morning at honeysuckle farm we chose to venture into Hornsea for our lunch. We decided to visit No 10 coffee shop. When we arrived, myself, my husband and our two boys (aged 4, and 1) where shown to a table quickly. This would be the only time any speed was shown in our lunch. Our order was taken, 3 sandwiches and a child’s pasta. If I would have known our lunch would have taken 40 minutes to come I would have taken two hungry toddlers elsewhere. I am not sure what took 40 minutes; as we where served 3 plain sandwiches one with no side salad, one with a premade sandwich filler and the other with hardly any filling. As for the pasta, it had taken a spin round the microwave and was a molten larva mess. The gentleman behind us was served his sandwich with coleslaw, crisps, and a side salad? So not sure why we where not? I think we will stick to packed lunches next time, a half term treat turned into £25 for poor sandwiches and even poorer service."

"Enjoyed my first visit for a takeaway. I would have given 5, but some accessibility issues with the layout. Accessibility mixed level manual entrance, narrow inside between tables. Takeaway order point is at the back (order by phone and collect at the front of the restaurant if in a chair? . Disabled toilet at the rear with normal width doors. Opening Times Monday to Thursday and Saturday 5:30 11:00 pm. Friday Saturday 5:30 11:30 pm. Planned to be open 7 days a week, including Christmas Day. Car Parking the restaurant is near a junction, but there is free on road parking relatively nearby. Children made welcome. Delivery no. Drink non alcoholic, but customers can bring their own and there is no 'corkage ' charge. Food enjoyed it, fresh vegetables (I 'm a veggie . Price Speed I 'd ordered a Peshwari Naan and the Tandoor took 40 minutes to heat up Staff friendly and helpful. Toilets (including disabled at the back through normal width doors."
