"I have been to this restaurant twice now and I would give it an average rating. It's not bad, but not great either - just meh. The venue is really nice and the furniture and interior design are well done. The food is decent, but nothing special - just average. On my first visit, I ordered a medium-rare steak but it came well done and not pink at all, tasting more like a burger patty. I also tried the katsu curry, which had a large portion size but the ratio of rice to meat was off, causing the sauce to become dry as the meal progressed. Overall, I would rate this restaurant a 6 out of 10."

"in consideration of our meal on December 28th, the ambiente in the room lacked more festive joy. the dining areas are divided into two areas, a winter garden and an adjoining room, through which the winter garden is accessible. the conservatory was a little decorated and seemed to sit a more beautiful place; I felt like we were sitting in a workstation kantine. first the waitresses were very attentive, especially a medium-aged blonde, which was very happy and helpful. it was pointed out, however, that certain items were not available to order, including two sloved pork belly (two were then found) and two house mixed grill. there was a short waiting time for drinks and our meals, but that was not a problem. I'm sorry to say, my cocky boar was 80% soft white fat (no cracking) and some hard dry meal underneath. my kartoffels, plucked and carrots were delicious and so was the serious. my man gave me his small portion steak, which was also very tasty, but also incredibly small. we also got two side chips that we had not ordered, but had cooked. if it wasn't for my steak and extra chips I would have been very hungry. my man said his chicken part was very dry and hard to swallow. the desserts were in order, but very expensive for what they were £6.75 everyone and some items were not available again to order. after dessert the dinge began to go downhill. we joked that the waiting staff must have made a break because we have not seen anyone for about ten minutes, then a group of 3 came from the kitchen that spoke between themselves, not one of them went to one of the tables where the people were sitting. two went to the winter garden where there were no customers and after the conversation a man came out of the kitchen, they began to delete and reset tables. At some point a waitress came to our table, took two dirty dishes away and asked if we want coffee, but we did not get it, and there were another 10 minutes before cleaning the other dirty dishes and we were asked about coffee again, but it was too late then. we paid the bill and left. if it were just me and my husband, then I would certainly have complained, but when I chose this facility, I felt guilty and embarrassing about our special meal and I'm sorry to say I won't come back soon. this bistro urgently needs renovation and personal training."

"As you may all know by now, I get married next year and I have been searching for the perfect place everywhere. So after booking a place and then not hearing anything from them for months only for them to tell us they had booked another couple for their wedding instead, we thought it best to look elsewhere. Then we found the Oakley which is a gorgeous place located in a beautiful village and we fell in love with it. First the address: The Oakley Kiddemore Green Road Brewood Staffordshire ST19 9BQ We found the Oakley very easily considering it is in a lovely little village called Brewood which is apparently a winner of best kept village for quite a few years running. It is gorgeous and right in the country and so quiet you feel like you have gone on holiday although it is not too far away from my house. It takes about 15 minutes to get to the Oakley from a junction on the M6 so as you can imagine it is easy to get to and very accessible. The Oakley is set back with a fantastic car park which is huge. It is a gigantic white building that looks very welcoming which is always nice. When you walk in there is a massive fish tank filled with some lovely fish and the main reception. Now for weddings there are two rooms available which is great so I will let you know a little bit about them now. The smaller room is beautiful and quite huge which is nice and offers panoramic views over the gardens which are simply stunning. It has its own private little bar and is a short walk away from the bigger bar. It is massive anyway and can house around 100 people so more than big enough to accommodate my wedding party. I should mention at this point that both rooms can be used for other parties and private functions too so not only weddings. The larger room is fabulous and can house up to 200 people I should imagine. It has a spectacularly large dance floor if you fancy like having a lot of people who can dance at your wedding. This room can have a door that takes you straight out onto the terrace and into the fabulous gardens which is very nice indeed. Now the terrace area is fantastic with seats and also a large area for barbeques if you want them. The gardens are fabulous though and are set around a massive lake which is so picturesque. There is a small centre piece in the middle which is lovely and you can walk all around and across the couple of bridges they have there. The setting is beautiful and it does take your breath away because you walk into the place not even thinking there is this massive area of garden which is so gorgeous. They have rooms at the Oakley too so you can stay the night if needs be. Now if you want to just visit the Oakley for food they do serve Sunday lunch for about £15 per head and it was delicious. They had a good choice of roasts and they give you a lot of food which is always good to see. The staff are very pleasant and you can sit on a table looking out onto the gardens which is lovely on a Sunday afternoon. Hire of the rooms is at £1500 1700 which is very reasonable and accommodation is around the £60 per room mark and you get a breakfast with that. In conclusion I am going to tell you the Oakley is simply stunning and if you want a party, wedding or corporate do there it is worth visiting. "this hotel is located in a quiet village and has a very good restaurant. eating is amazing and restaurant looks so trendy. cleanliness of the rooms leave this place down, carpets are stained, bad not very clean, and tap them wobly and not high enough to properly fill boilers into the room. coffee cup was in the room and also some water. from any reason, the bathroom has a glass door that may be modern, but does not give them a private sphere when they stay with their children. the beds are very comfortable, but they could have two kisses, each not only one. we loved our stay here, personal was helpful and nice. the parking lot is not far from the hotel and is free."

"looks and feels like a family in the possession and a family run pub. spacious exterior seats with stands, tables and a marquee. the plentiful play area and size jungle jim was fun to like the children, but not to kick a ball over the chew! eating looked pretty good, but tasty! really nice freshly cooked veg, an amazing yorks pud. the chicken cake was beautiful. four real ales on hahn. a lot of parking right in front of the a5."
