Freinds recommended this pub, and we are so glad we listened. My husband had a lrg roast dinner whilst I just had a normal size, it turned out I had to help him out lol, he was very full up when we finished. I will certainly recommend this to other freinds. I have dined at this restaurant 4-5 times in the last 6 months. The food is outstanding, always cooked perfectly with generous portions. The staff really make the experience, they are very welcoming and attentive. I have used this restaurant as a meeting place for two separate family visits to Kent and both sides of the family left very satisfied. Service: 5 Location: 5.

This restaurant was a great spot to enjoy a meal with the family, and the added bonus of being able to bring along our dog really made the experience special. The only drawback was that there weren't many options for vegetarians. I ended up ordering a burger, which was a bit too spicy for my liking, but it was either that or a ploughman's platter. After a day at Reculver beach, my son and I were hungry and spotted this pub with a spacious car park. Overall, it was a decent pub with excellent service and a friendly and competent barmaid serving fresh and tasty seafood. However, the £13 burger was disappointing and reminded me of a Wetherspoons burger. It was advertised as having cheddar cheese, but instead had a square of processed cheese. On the bright side, the two pints of Harvey's Bitter were superb and they had a good selection of ales. I would definitely return with my family, but I hope they work on improving their burger quality. I would be willing to pay more for a better burger experience. Keep up the good work!

I had a fantastic evening with wonderful friends at this restaurant. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was of excellent quality. The homemade dishes were particularly tasty, such as the poached salmon for the wives and the crispy chicken sausage and mash for the hubbies. For dessert, we enjoyed brioche bread butter pudding, Gypsy tart, and sticky toffee cheesecake, all of which were delicious. The portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. Today we went for lunch with our friends Lin and Mike, who live nearby. We are also named Lin and Mike and we live near Dartford. The restaurant is a charming country pub with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly. We were glad we made a reservation as the place was quickly filling up with hungry customers. The ladies ordered pie, Mike had fish and chips, and I indulged in the Big Boys Pudding! Despite the large portion, I managed to finish it and the attentive staff checked on us throughout our meal.
