"Spent a wonderful Saturday evening at Myra's. This was our first visit to a Japanese restaurant in 35 years and it led me to ask why we had left it so long. We decided to have the tasting menu and were delighted. The food is delicious- Myra delivers fantastic flavours dish after dish, and this is backed up by wonderful service from her son and husband. It feels like a true family event and you can see the care reflected in everything they do. Myra's is at the upper price bracket so don't expect a budget night out- but it is worth every penny."

"Well what a find we went to an indian but jammed in a corner load horrible so we left, on are walk to find some where else we spotted this places, we walked in and met with a smile shown a table, everything was nice and timed to perfection, we ordered a starter for 2 amazing flavours, my miss ordered the best burger she's ever tasted in a amazing rustic bun with side salad, I had a goat cheese pizza which was amazing the food was fresh we didn't feel uncomfortably stuffed we were happy with the price as the hole package was fantastic and we left smiling so thank you for the great expireance and food. "We have been here a few times, the food is lovely, although the menu seemed rather limited. The service was out of sorts this visit. We didn't like sitting on the long bench seat on the far wall, we were sandwiched between a family whose children were a pain and the father was virtually sat on my lap and a table of 8, they were extremely loud, so we could not hear each other speak."

"Waitresses were really helpful regularly asking if we needed anything, music wasn’t loud in there like some places so we could actually talk, really nice drink menu. Now for the most important part- food was best I’ve had in years I had the Alright Hen chicken and bbq pulled pork burger with the best chips I’ve ever had, coleslaw was perfect, tasted so fresh and good quality. Would definitely go there again on occasion. If you’re in Yeovil I recommend giving this a go as a treat."

"I was excited to go back to La Caverna with some friends, but was disappointed to find out that you have to order in advance, which is not my preference. From the moment we walked into the restaurant, our expectations quickly diminished. The greeting we received, "I'm busy dealing with this customer," was not very welcoming, and the rest of the evening continued to be frustrating with poor service. It took 40 minutes for our first round of drinks to arrive, and our starters were okay, but our mains were brought out before we were ready and some of our guests were missing from the table. We were not offered dessert or coffee, and when we ordered more drinks, they never arrived. It took over 30 minutes to get the bill, and when I asked for my remaining pizza to be boxed up, it took another 20 minutes to find a box, even though they do takeaway pizza. The staff member was rude and sarcastic when we went to pay, and made a snide comment about splitting the bill, even though there were only 5 of us. When he asked if we were leaving a tip, I firmly responded with a 'no' in front of my friends. Later that evening, I got sick and ended up vomiting everything I had eaten at the restaurant. I will not be returning to this establishment, as the poor treatment and service we received was unacceptable. I chose to spend my money here, and was disappointed with how we were treated as a group."
