"Eaten here a few times with family, today was girlfriend our 7yr old Son. Friendly service at bar when ordering and information of what's available. Slight wait due to busy time, however, well worth it! Son had Sausage, chips and gravy loved the sausages and gravy! Girlfriend ordered fish and chips with mushy peas Whale came out! She loved it! I ordered Kiev and chips chicken was succulent and garlic flowed as I cut in! (I like garlic). Chips were old school, handmade and tasted delicious! Cost was just over £30 and was 3 meals drinks. Staff are always extremely friendly and nothing is a problem."

Great food and great atmosphere, can't fault it. Not one of my local pubs but definitely worth coming out of the way for. I would highly recommend it.

Toilets are disgraceful, completely unhygienic, unsuitable hand-washing facilities and not disability friendly. Concerned about the hygiene of the food/kitchen area if the toilets are as bad as they are. Definitely avoid Wheelchair accessibility: No point bringing wheelchair, the toilets are not disability friendly
