"A local recommended Trastevere to us for our first dinner in Villefranche sur Mer. It was so fantastic that we returned for lunch before flying back. Buzzy and atmospheric at night, it's perhaps even more impressive at lunch could there be a better setting than fresh seafood and waterside dining? The Napoli pizza and Tagliatelle with Fruits de Mer were exceptional [portions were incredibly generous . The staff are spectacular attentive without being overbearing, upbeat and so knowledgeable [in particular David who went above and beyond to make fantastic recommendations . One of – if not the most – memorable meals I’ve had in the Côte d'Azur to date. If I return to Villefranche sur Mer [and I hope I do! , I'll head here first."

The service in this place is friendly and efficient. We had the cod à la plancha and the lasagna and they were ok. The lemon meringue pie was disappointing. Nice view overlooking the port.

rather coarse and antipathic establishment, it seems. we were asked what we wanted and we responded to drinks for starters. we were not given a menu but we were asked what we wanted to drink. the add was served quickly with drinks. Welcome. value for money exceeding the average. well located, pleasant room and terrace, with sea view and city raft. I recommend that the flat note, dessert, wine and coffee remain important. a pity because convinced that can best do in the quality of money with a little more substantial. Thank you!

We generally only eat a small lunch, so we ordered a pizza between us. Thst wasn't allowed, we were sternly told, we needed to order a meal each. Originaly my husband wanted French fries with his half a pizza, and we would have had 2 beers as well. As it was, we ended up ordering 2 pizzas, no French fries and only tap water to drink, so no profit there. The pizza was fine, but the experience left a sour taste in our mouths.
