"Haben sie reserviert? Nein. Dann suchen sie sich einen Platz aus. So beginnt ein merkwürdiger Abend. Getränke werden zügig aufgenommen und serviert. Dann längere Zeit Pause, wir werden vertröstet, die Karte kommt bald. Das Wunder geschah nach weiteren 10 Minuten, die Karte war eine mannshohe Tafel, die von Tisch zu Tisch getragen wurde. Von dieser Tafel existierte eben nur eine für alle.Die Speisen wurden aufgenommen, danach 25 Minuten Pause. Ist ok, alles wird scheinbar frisch gemacht. Es kam ein Gruß aus der Küche, eine geröstete Scheibe Brot mit Olivenpesto. Wir hatten gerade zwei Bissen davon genommen, da kam schon die Hauptspeise für meine Frau. Ich bemerkte, dass das ein wenig schnell wäre, die Bedienung ging wortlos vom Tisch. Ich hingegen wartete weitere 5 Minuten, bis mein Hauptgang kam. Wer will schon mit dem Partner gemeinsam speisen? Die zweite Bedienung entschuldigte sich für die zeitliche Folge.Mein Rindfleisch war zäh, von Sehnen durchzogen, dazu Gemüse und Kartoffeln durcheinander. Viel Öl, ohne Highlight abgeschmeckt. Das Hauptgericht meiner Frau war ok, ohne nennenswerte Attribute.Bedienung eins trug ab, fragte, ob es geschmeckt hat. Ich reklamierte mein Essen. Der Schweiger ging wieder wortlos vom Tisch. Bedienung zwei, der Gesprächige, fragte ebenfalls nach, ob es geschmeckt hat. Ich wiederholte die Reklamation. Antwort: ich sag`s der Küche. Das war's, keine Entschuldigung, kein Bedauern, keine Rückmeldung aus der Küche.Unsere Gläser waren leer, keine Rückfrage, ob wir noch einen Wunsch hätten. Dennoch meine Frau bestellte für sich noch etwas, ich war der Bedienung völlig egal. Meine Frau dann auch, denn sie mußte nach einer Viertelstunde nochmals erinnern.Fazit: wir schienen nicht willkommen gewesen zu sein, man begegnete uns mit stark distanzierter Höflichkeit. Der Service war uns als Gast nicht zugewendet, die Speisen zum Sattwerden. Wer jetzt glaubt, das alles wäre einem vollen Haus zuzuschreiben, irrt. Es waren vielleicht 6-8 Tische besetzt."

Ein sehr schöner Abend mit authentischer italienischer Küche. Da ich schon mehrfach bei Lorenzo zu Gast und immer sehr zufrieden war, interessierte mich das Urteil meiner Freunde. Es war ein gelungener Abend, Service war aufmerksam und die Gerichte frisch, schnörkellos und lecker! EMPFEHLENSWERT!

cold and rainy day. Welcome was good and service was 5 stars. my wife had tomato soup and tortelini with mushrooms. pasta was al dente and well made. I had antipasto, which was freshly prepared and salimbocca with great sweet. beautiful selection of grappa to finish the meal. actually we had more grappa and tiramisu to make the lunch perfect.

Giorno freddo e piovoso. Benvenuto era buono e il servizio era stella. Mia moglie aveva zuppa di pomodoro e torttelini con funghi. La pasta era al dente e faceva bene. Avevo Antipasto che era preparato al momento e Saltimbocca con grandi verdure. Bella selezione di grappa fino a ... parte il pasto. In realtà avevamo più grappa e tiramisù per migliorare il pranzo perfetto

Wir haben für den Mittagstisch im Rahmen einer Konfirmation für 15 Leute Essen bestellt, welches wir haben liefern lassen. (Gemischte Antipasti, gratinierter Spargel, gefüllte Teigtaschen mit Steinpilzen).Ich wurde im Vorfeld sehr gut beraten, das Essen kam pünktlich und die Gäste waren hellauf begeistert. Qualität, Frische und Geschmack waren spitze und daher absolut empfehlenswert!Preis, Leistung Top!

So muss italienische Küche sein , echt authentisch und lecker so schmeckt die Trattoria Lorenzo ! Angefangen mit einer antipasti für 2 Die keine Wünsche offen ließ, Gemüse gegrillt , vitello tonnato, carpaccio Und Parma geschnitten von einer wunderschönen Aufschnitt Maschine die mitten im Lokal steht , Dann gab es Pasta aus dem Parmesan Laib , Ein Hochgenuss , so lieben wir "cucina italiana " Der offene rote Wein hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Dessert mussten wir leider auslassen da wir satt waren ! Definitiv ein guter Tipp den man an der Grenze Wuppertals augenscheinlich nicht mehr vermutet

Wir waren hier vor einem Jahr essen und waren etwas enttäuscht. Wir hörten aber immer wieder von Freunden und Bekannten wie gut es hier ist. Also Tisch für 7 Personen reserviert und hin gegangen. Diesmal hat wirklich alles gepasst! Als Vorspeise hatten wir Antipasti für alle, als Hauptgerichte diverse Nudelgerichte und ein Fleischgericht, und zum Dessert Panne Cotta. Wirklich alles geschmacklich perfekt und frisch zubereitet. Am Service, den wir damals bemängelt hatten, gab es diesmal nichts auszusetzen. Da sieht man einmal, wie schwer es ist ein Gastronom zu sein. Du musst IMMER perfekt sein. Zum Glück sind wir nochmal hin.Fazit: auf jeden Fall hingehen, lohnt sich!!!

Sorpreso di non trovare questo ristorante su Tripadvisor, ho supplicato 'loro di aggiungerlo, e sono orgoglioso di essere il primo recensore. Dopo una lunga ricerca, finalmente lo troviamo: il miglior ristorante italiano di Wuppertal! Ed è il nostro 'locale'! Questo posto è un Jem: la famiglia Lorenzo proviene dalla Sicilia, e possono cucinare! Il cibo è totalmente autentico. La pasta è sempre fresca: le speciali quotidiane non ti deluderanno! "If a family has been leading an Italian Sicilian restaurant for 40 years without interruption in a German city, you can talk about a tradition of Italian Sicilians. Forty years in the same place, opposite the Wuppertal swimming pool and not even an ideal location, about 1.5 kilometers from the city.
