"I was in the white horse three times and it was really nice every time. I've eaten twice in the restaurant. the employees were all amazing. considering that it is a small village so that the staff is not used as it is for people with disabilities as I am, they do a great job to make sure that I feel comfortable. the personal likes a laugh with the customers. the restaurant part can take a lot of time. it is best in the week, just before the restaurant part opens. the restaurant is not open all the time, the pub is so the best to check. I had both paintings fishing, chips and drilling. they were perfect, they were not thin and not thick. the chips were also perfect. the fish was very nice, but I prefer my fish a little darker, but this is my personal taste. the prices are very good for the quality of eating and given its local independent business in a small village. eating always tastes fresh and hot. the deserts are also very beautiful. Please note that here sodawater costs, while in most pubs, including the villagers I in, it is free since its only fizzy water. it could be worth trying another drink to get the best."

Nice place, friendly staff, decent pub food. Number of veggie options, which is always a bonus. Near to the RSPB at Bempton Cliffs which is also well worth a visit

Called in after walking part of the Cleveland way. Just finished serving food but someone mentioned that the food here is good. Staff very friendly and a good range of beers on offer.

Gorgeous home cooking, big portions, great value too! The staff are friendly and attentive. They didn't rush us either. We had a lasagna and a chicken curry, both with homemade chunky chips. Delicious!

Frequently visit for food and drinks. Each visit is always superb, whether it be for Dinner and drinks or just a drink. All the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food is always excellent quality. Would highly recommend!

Came here as part of a large group for a meal and it was fantastic. The food was served quickly, was piping hot and delicious to boot. The staff were friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Have never been here before but will definitely be back.

We called in for a meal Friday evening after arriving for a break in Bempton. A friendly local pub the staff where helpful and friendly. The meal was good honest pub food plenty of it nice hot and tasty. As on holiday we also had booked for Sunday lunch it's not a Carvery but a choice of three meats also option of a smaller portion, only sorry they had sold out of a couple of the desserts. Called in again on Tues I enjoed a lovely Sweetpotato,chickpea and spinach curry with rice and nan, whilst my husband had a burger and chips, again could not fault the food or the staff . It's a lovely local pub which will also do take aways if possible. It is advisable to book in advance for Sunday Lunch...
