"Weil am Rhein is a dull little town with limited dining options, especially on a Monday when everything else is shut. You can get a really good kebab if you don’t mind chowing down on dead gangster but a Monday night visit to Yusufs was...appalling, despite expectations to the contrary. I spied a glimpse of the chef during our meal and he looked more like an MMA cage fighter than a cook, but after the catastrophe that emerged from his kitchen, violence is probably the right descriptor. Seafood pasta decorated by the detritus of an obvious explosion in a Balkan seafood waste processing facility, feld salat that was butchered, over salted, drowning in vinegar, house red wine you wouldn’t serve to a condemned Albanian paedophile, and a basket of bread that was pizza offcuts pummelled I’m sure by the same ham fisted indifference that plated everything else up. Utterly appalling and shockingly overpriced for the quality of fayre presented. What a shame. Unless you’re starving and desperate, avoid this shake and bake catastrophe. Right next door is Galileo, run by Yusuf’s estranged brother. I know. Very West Virginia. Anyway Galileo next door is very good with a proper chef who actually cares. If you survive the botchelism and indifference on the menu at Yusuf’s, give his brother a try right next door"

They are good at everything they do. Pizzas are excellent. Yusuf has excellent steaks. You may get tired of his green beans, served with most of his dishes, but they are excellent. And the staff are excelllent

min from Basel, and after a day at the Basel watch fair this is the place, First you sit on the sun at the nice terrace and then go inside to eat MEAT, or oder great things, We had the Tomahawk steak , gram great flavor and also the veggies are nice. if you can eat hem after your steak ; , the staff is great and Yusuf and his wife and son are super. During Basel world we came back times and al we had from Pizza , schnitzel or filet , all perfect cooked

After a wonderful visit to Zoo Basel, we decided to go for a dinner in Germany. I followed what Tripadvisor suggested and we ate at this restaurant. It was almost full but they kindly offered a table for us (family with children). We ordered and...my delicious steak was already on the table when my youngest kid got sick and made a mess all over. The waitress lady came right away and literally saved us. They were extraordinary helpful and nice and gave us another table, fast and not complicated at all. We stopped by last Saturday. Upon arrival the waitress told us (before saying "hello "we only have Pizza, Pasta and Salad, but no meat dishes at this time of the day. OK. So we sat down and had a look. The waitress then kind of...rushed us to make a decision. The place was virtually empty, so no reason for rushing from my point of view.
