"Food and service were good but they could not find my reservation when we first arrived. It was not until I explained that I had to have confirmation sent to Opentable that I had attended, in order to receive my reward points, that they realised they have a separate booking system for Opentable reservations. This could not be accessed until later when the Manager was able to do so. Eventually they found it and I see my points have been added. Unfortunately, like almost all of the restaurants in our area, they do not accept Opentable diners cheques or gift cards which defeats the object of collecting points, despite being able to book through Opentable. I have complained about this to Opentable in the past who said they would make their restaurants more aware of the points redemption system but I have seen no improvement of this. There is no list of restaurants which accept them, only a long list of restaurants which do not. If a restaurant joins the scheme it should be obligitory for them to accept redemption of points in the form of diners cheques or gift cards. They should at least have some incentive or encouragement to do so. For some reason none of them want to accept them and most of them do not know about them, even though they take bookings through Opentable."

the pizzas found on the pizza pretty sparce meat. the ravioli was bland and did not taste cheese.

We use Zizzi in Loughton a lot and always have a good night and food always good the only drawback on this occasion was the restaurant was freezing!! We had to keep our coats or scarfs on for most of the time which was a shame as we had all made an effort to dress up (even the teenagers! . I can only assume it was because of the extreme cold weather we have had recently and the thin windows where we were seated however will return again ....
