Food was served well and was very fresh and well prepared. You get value in this place Go for it.. The restaurant is somewhat off the well trodden path but worth going there.

hotel recommended this place. brot was good. Next my wife fish had a bad smell so that she returned it, but no excuses of maitre d just a defense. I kept quiet, although my steak had a strange smell, as if it had just been heated. no excuse. maitre d has not looked at us again. cote brasserie in london would kill this place in seconds.

We enjoyed very much the dinner, wonderful food, great atmosphere. Service was really excellent. Nothing was too much trouble for the personnel. We showed up without reservation and they managed to arrange a table for us. It’s a place only a few minutes walk from...Arc de Triomphe, at the same time spared from the crowds. I’m sure you’ll enjoy it too.

we enjoyed our dinner at au petit margery – the best meal we had in paris. we shared the laughter – the sauce was great. I had kalb with roasted purple carrots in a great sauce. my man had laughs, squids and whistle about sour wort in a wein sauce sounds strange, but he really liked it. I had soufflé grand marnier for dessert while he had a chocolate concoction with ice cream, wafer and real whipped cream. we thought the prices were good and the service was excellent. Other than some cool potato’s I had to send back to the kitchen we had a perfectly good simple meal. 2 Gin and tonics, 1 starter (prawns and asparagus), two mains (entrecôte and prawns/asparagus)1 coffee, one bottle of water, half a bottle of wine and...a coffee. All for €132 for 2; 30% more than we paid for an inventive and delicious meal just round the corner two nights ago. Slightly supercilious Maitre D’ gave impression that he was presiding over a Parisian legend but the waitress was charming and did her best. Nothing wrong with the food but NOT value for money. You can do better.

This place is not horrible but there were a lot of things wrong with the food. It wasn't badd food it just didn't taste like anything great. We had the plate dejeuner which was Guinea fowl and it came with flat green beans in tomato...sauce and they were not very nice. There was no rice no potatoes nothing to go with it so it was just like eating a chicken with giant green beans that had no flavor. We also tried the souffle; it came out all runny it was inedible the insides were not cooked at all. Also the main reason I'm writing this review is the waiters were perfunctory in providing service.
