"One specialty is a savory sort of pancake that comes from the region of Japan the proprietors are from. These people stay true to their craft and art in creating the balanced presentation of their foods with the best ingredients. If you like the sushi...buffets this is not the place for you. Proportions and preparations are done to perfection and the dining atmosphere is that of a small place that is warm an inviting. A friend that lived in Okinawa tells me it's one of the few places he's been to outside Japan that is a place Japanese people might go to. This place is probably my overall favorite in Kaiserslautern, and that means a lot coming from a guy that loves all the local European food."

This is by far the best, and most authentic Japanese restaurants in Kaiserslautern and the surrounding area. I ordered a Hats off to the chef!variety of dishes, including the okonomiyaki, and some sushi. The nigiri was by far the highest quality I’ve ever had in...Germany. The

Weiterhin absolut empfehlenswert!!!

I'm Japanese. I've been there many times, love the food and the friendly service. The Okonomiyaki, Sushi, Karaage, Gyoza, Yaki-Udon, Matcha ice cream..and etc.. all of them are real Japanese food not the fake ones like others in K-town. I'm sure here is the only...place where you can have real Japanese food in K-town. The restaurant is small so it's better to make reservations. You can go with small kids too. Absolutely recommended!

We tried the teriyaki chicken roll, octopus balls, okinamiyaki, and sashimi. The teriyaki roll and sashimi was decent. The sashimi came with the tiny cheap shrimp you buy from the store with cocktail sauce. The okinamiyaki and octopus balls were God awful. The octopus balls...were like soggy hush puppies with uncooked dough and a piece of octopus in the middle. The okinamiyaki was like someone poured teriyaki sauce and mayo over a half cooked pancake. Neither one of us couldnt even swallow a bite.

When you're in an area where quality Japanese food is hard to come by, this was a real treasure to find. Quality ingredients and rolls that surpassed the flavors (and prices of other sushi restaurants in the area made this a wonderful experience. They offered...Japanese style hot pancakes and other authentic dishes that you can't find elsewhere. It's a very small restaurant, so reservations are a must. We brought my year old, but she enjoys sushi and the food they served. I would not classify this as a restaurant that you would bring small children to. The staff is incredibly warm and friendly.

The restaurant changed owners about months ago. Make sure you make a phone reservation. We tried an online reservation site but it never got to the restaurant. I believe this is because the restaurant is within the hotel. The service and chef are all...in one. This young man does it all! The game lace is super clean, the menu is in English and the beer is super cold! The sushi selection is very good. Fresh. It had been years since we had decent tuna in Germany. Just make sure you understand that the prep takes time. We started and finished by This was for a party of The entire game lace only holds about people.

"I know something in Kaiserslautern. But there are always new tips. And old tips. I remember Saarschmecker's contribution to the Cardinal of 2015. “Food” has me reading this review that I have never noticed this Ristorante. Finally, I almost went to the slaughtered vocational school (as many) years ago. Central, but hidden near the Palatinate Theatre. Our car was free from 19.00 a.m., so we tried our luck in the “cardinal” without reservation. Unfortunately we could not sit in the green courtyard anymore, the summer is over. Before the restaurant entrance already the current recommendations. ‘Spaghetti with truffles’ and ‘Freshmuscheln’. The torment of choice! entrance Few steps go to the restaurant. The historic building has survived wars. Today's building represents the rest of a farm with economic buildings. So everything is slightly angled and heats up. A very young employee welcomed us with a radiant smile. For a Tuesday evening the restaurant was already very well visited. Luckily we have a nice table in the vaulted cellar. Reserves should not be a mistake. The cards were distributed equally, the recommendations for the day were written again on a large wall board. We ordered a bottle of mineral water, San Pellegrino, 0.75 l € 5,50. The menu offers pizza, pasta and Italian classics. We agreed quickly: The spaghetti with truffles € 16,90 should be for both of us. A small appetizer salad was not on the map, but the patient assured that she was not a problem. The desired dressage was requested. Mineral water was immediately and the small salads, as desired with balsamicodressing, were served shortly later. Fresh ingredients, good dressing, also freshly cut (in stock with fabric) Ciabatta. The additional salad was found on our invoice voucher with very fair € 2,90. fresh added salad It went very lively this evening and I advised about the age of our young service workers. Could she be 18? In any case, she had a well-dosed gastrointestinalrogen that sprayed not only kindness, but also with tears of joy and cordiality from her. Also with the other guests. She was supported by the head of the house. In the meantime we ordered a reason alcohol-free, 0.33 l € 2.50 and Frascati, 0.25 l € 4.20. He served our pasta with freshly planned black truffles. Not the most expensive truffles (not expected), I guess Burgundy truffles. The section is well dimensioned and serves in the deep, preheated plate. Rich truffles and what I expect: here was not refreshed with truffle oil or truffle butter. It tasted pure and good, Parmesan. Simple and convincing. Not only a crispy chip as decoration above. Spaghetti with fresh truffles We were very satisfied with our choice, our evening, were well maintained. The question of whether everything is correct is not lacking in the small salad or in the pasta. Despite a fully equipped restaurant, the acoustics were pleasant and not too loud. Then you pay the friendly boss, Mr. Shala. EC payment to the counter without problems. To the well-maintained and clean toilets you can go over a staircase to the upper floor, accessible to the disabled is only the beautiful beer garden in the courtyard. I'm sorry for the photos. Forgot my phone at home had to keep my Co Geniesser's cell phone camera here. She can really nix... The dishes looked better! Next time? And certainly in the beautiful quiet courtyard."
