"I’d previously drank here in the summer and had a good time and so was keen to try food. Came on a weekday lunch eating inside so not sure if representative of weekends or evening menu too. I live locally in Bath so wanted to like the experience but was very disappointed. Unfortunately the food (fish finger sandwich), was very poor- grey, reconstituted looking fish fingers.. Tiny salad and coleslaw which cost extra and tasted like it had been left out. Expensive meal for what it was-two fish finger sandwiches and two soft drinks just under £30 for lunch. Most customers were elderly 70+ on the weekday lunchtime. We are mid 30s. Couldn’t fault on the service from staff who were friendly and attentive. Mainly the food that’s letting it down, I think it’s resting on it’s good location and letting both food and decor slip."

Great pub, but NO VEGAN FOOD! I would have given this place a five-star if they would have done vegan food as the staff were amazing and the quality of the food was very good too

Really enjoy my visits to this pub, mid week it was just right, not too busy and the food we had was excellent. Home cooked and very tasty. Booked our Christmas get together for December so looking forward to that one.. well worth a visit. Price per person: £50–60 Food: 5

Very disappointing. Member of staff seemed really unhappy. Nachos served with tiny bit of salsa. No chillis, no guacamole. My sirloin steak was grey. It arrived without chips, had to order separately. One of our party had Bacon brie and cranberry baguette, but no cranberry given. Wouldn't return unfortunately.
