"Generic pub atmosphere... Wife and I visited Looe and called into what I like to call The Mucky Duck . The lovely woman who served us was also like a tourist information service. She came with dog treats for our little pooch and a bowl of water (but as it wasn 't taken from a muddy puddle, our dog wasn 't interested). The reason for not 5 stars is basically the atmosphere and decor. Modern with different shades of grey. Comfortable seating but nothing really to look around at. Nothing unique and could have been a pub anywhere. Would have been nice to have things that represented the beautiful area. Very clean, bordering sterile, lacking environment."

one of the best pub menus I've had for a long time. they were short on the staff, but they wouldn't know! service was exceptional and the food was delicious, fresh and well cooked.

Visited on the first night of our holiday. The staff were wonderfully welcoming. A great selection of drinks and really good menu for food. We had a couple of dishes on offer and the food was really nice. Looking forward to visiting again.

It was our first visit,the staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice selection of drinks and a good menu. Food was served pretty quickly and was very good. It was a nice relaxing atmosphere. Would recommend, don't be surprised if you have too wait, especially in the summer for somewhere to sit.

I dined here tonight, July 4th, 2022, and it was absolutely fantastic! They even allowed us to bring in our German Shepherd dog without any issues. The service provided by Alison and her team was great and very friendly. The meal we ordered was amazing—definitely the best we've had in Looe this week. The restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. Many thanks!

At first, we felt the place looked a bit cold. The decor is missing a bit of warmth, but we thought we would give it a try. The lady at the bar was lovely and welcoming and so efficient. The food was excellent. Compliments to the chef. Within half an hour the place was full and added the atmosphere that the pub needed with lots of happy guests and delicious food. The staff here is exceptionally beautiful, and the service is excellent. The food is delicious, and the decor is warm and cozy, with comfortable seating and clean restrooms, including a baby changing station. The prices are reasonable, and the menu features main dishes and light snacks. There’s also a children's menu available. You can choose from a variety of coffees and other hot drinks—perfect for warming up after a cold walk by the sea. I highly recommend the well-made black swan!

We had dinner on the last night of our holiday, and it was the perfect way to wrap up our trip. At first, we were the only customers in the restaurant, but more people arrived after we started eating. The menu offered a great selection of dishes, and we both opted for the loaded fries, which were absolutely delicious and served in generous portions. The music playing was right up our alley, and thankfully for the staff, we didn’t start singing along! (It was British Indie/Rock.) If we find ourselves in Looe again, we will definitely come back!
