Cafe Restaurant Luftsprung

We enjoyed it very much. It was great to have warm soups in such a cold evening. The food was well prepared. The waiters were very friendly.

Went here yesterday, was only going to have a drink but the food looked lovely so I decided to have a mushroom salad. I have never had breaded mushrooms with salad but it was that nice I wanted to go back today. A dark grey haired man served us who was really nice and helpful.

Typical Café/Bar with pub type food - all good. Even though we were hungry the waiter suggested we order the small portion salad and he was right. The small portion was large and most adequate for most anyone. Good selections, good service, dependable right on the river running thru the old town.

You have to admit: the area is just wonderful. Easy to access, beautiful scenery, very nice. Too bad the food is just average... salad was like out of the supermarket and tintenfish was okish. So nice time, but not pefect time. Prices are ok - 32 euros without dessert. Good area for a quick lunch :)

Our last night in Nuremberg, all we want was a place to have drinks and food, the luftsprung delivered all that. Our waitress was very friendly and the food was good in size and taste, the ribs could be cooked a bit longer but the flavor was awesome. We spent some quality time there! Definitely recommend!

A small venue by the riverside of the city, with about 20 tables in total give or take a few. The staff is either overly polite or the direct opposite. I ordered one of the salads with chicken, it was definitely good and the portion was large. When I decided to try their drinks I do have to say I was rather discontent. In short, go for a beer if you visit this place and you'll be fine. This place has a nice location but it's nothing special.

Nice lunch at this Cafe/Restaurant in Nuremberg Old Town.The Rigatoni with Roast Chicken in A Cream & Wine Sauce was very nice.Had 2 glasses of draught Lederer Pils. The 1st was the gassiest beer I've drunk in decades. A constant volcano of bubbles in the glass. 2nd glass was better. Lederer like many German Pils these days now has a dry finish. I prefer the maltier Helles bier myself but wanted to try this Tucher brewed product as I've sampled their other brand products (Tucher/Zirndorfer).

This is one of the places where the locals go to eat and have a beer after work.The place was full with locals (no tourists were spotted), the atmosphere was relaxed and happy.The English menu was smaller than the German one, but we got an explanation from the waiter (many dishes were out...)I had a calamari tubes salad and a glass of tasty (house) wine. Very refreshing after the pig shoulder and beer served in the "German" places.For desert I had some kind of mascarpone dish, which was very tasty

Our last night in Nuremberg, on our way to a restaurant, we passed Lüftsprüng and decided to have cocktails. They have a large selection of cocktails, we ordered four different ones and the bill came to €32 which I feel was a bit expensive but it was a lovely ambience, a hot summer's evening in the old city. The service was not speedy but the place was very busy so can be excused. We did not eat there but the food served looked exceedingly good.The clientele seemed to be young professionals not short of money.One tip to the restaurant: At the price of cocktails, throw in some nibbles!
