If you love mussels then this is certainly a place for you!!..lovely little bistro in the middle of chewstoke, and a sun trap in the small garden. Highly recommend a visit

Have been coming here for a few years and love it. The food is always good and the staff are very professional, polite and accommodating. Visited today and had a great sandwich and coffee. The Sunday Roasts are always fab!

What a fabulous place for Sunday lunch! This was a birthday celebration, and the restaurant not only served the most beautifully cooked, generous portions of roast, but they were attentive, friendly and very efficient. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

we were here for lunch and had dinner for the first time. my partner and I are both vegan and the cook was very accommodating. he came with a few appetizers and netzen for us to choose, and they were all delicious! the room was humming and the staff very friendly and helpful. will definitely recommend and return. it's so nice to have this before our doorstep!

we wanted to visit here for some time, we were not disappointed. we were great by smiling, friendly staff. we had beautiful appetizers that we asked for some extra extras, that was not a problem. we ordered our Sunday dinner that we moved a few pieces. I prefer another meat that was on the menu, but not with the duo of the meat, so she changed it happy for us. I had to take a doggy bag. no starter next time. a nice lunch, served by friendly, young employees with excellent manage. Hopefully we will be in the situation this Sunday, but will try to lunch in the week. a great little sound.

it's about the good one on this place, so on the birthday of my mother on October 1st, we decided to eat in the chew kitchen on Sunday. when we arrived, the place was heaving and had a really nice atmosphere. we were served mainly by alice, who was very hospitable and attentive. we had some appetizers that were tasty and then we moved on the net. we all went for the roasted and damned, they were good. I went for bark and pork. both were really well cooked, with the bark nice and rare. really nice veg and a good portion size too. We really do enjoy dining here at this pleasant and busy restaurant. The food is always excellent and the service is both friendly and efficient. We both look forward to dining on really good fresh fish offered as ‘specials’ on the menu. Today we were celebrating my Partner’s birthday, and had invited some close friends to join us for their first visit here. I have been a very frequent customer of chew kitchen in the past, having left a 5 star review 6 years ago and having visited many times in between. There is no denying this place does the best roast dinner in the valley, something that has brought us back time and time again. Although this frequency has reduced due to the costs of the roast dinners increasing over the years, we still enjoy coming here for a treat. The owners changed over earlier this year and this is the first time I have visited and had a roast whilst solely under the management and chef of the new owners.
