Crown Carvery The Old Quay

Amazing time had by all will definitely be returning again in the near future

Staff very helpful and polite. Food was delicious we had carvery and Father enjoyed fish and chips

We were very disappointed with the lack of service had to clean our table. The beef joint was very tough and coffee was served in a mug wouldn't bother again.

Love it here,food is amazing and all the staff are the best I wouldn’t go anywhere else.Every time we are greeted with the most warm welcome and nothing is to much hassle

Thanks to all the team for another excellent evening at The Old Quay, Parkgate. Mandy and Rosie particularly made sure the Birthday Party for 9 of us was special. Definately recommend the Lasagne. Remember to order some chips if you want them. Made for a lovely change. Though as ever I believe the Carvery was excellent. Thank you and no doubt see you soon. God bless

Carvery here is one of the best on the Wirral, in fact I'd feel challenged to find somewhere better for the price. The carvery chef is always lovely and from being in the business myself for years I can tell he generally cares about his food and the clientele. Keep it up StoneHouse and make sure you're giving these chefs good incentives to continue their passion in such a challenging industry. See you soon

Mediocre, we ordered feta and spinach pasta, beef lasagne and a double burger with bacon. The feta and spinach pasta was just a handful of pasta shells in a basic cheese bechamel, no hint of feta or spinach in it. Beef lasagne was basically liquid, we even joked that we would need a spoon to eat it I think they forgot the beef. The burger was tired looking like it had been under a heat lamp for a while while they defrosted the lasagne in the microwave. The only saving grace was the friendly staff who brought the meals over.

After searching Heswall area where me and my husband where staying and looking for somewhere to eat, all closing early 6 -7 o'clock because of the football final we decided to drive to park gate to see if the old quay was open as we had been before for visits and knew it was very good good there. As we left we spoke to the staff after enjoying a small meal and had engaged with them during our visit.. Mandy, Millie and Terri where the three staff members that we chatted to after saying goodbye. Three very pleasant young ladies who made us feel very welcome.
