Ate this lunch with friends, frankly not great, small portions (half loop) cabbage sausage: 26 frs....pdt not cooked! I'm still hungry. Avoid. Same for my friends, sliced tough veal, etc... Disappointing.

A pretty little terrace in the center of the village. A relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Dishes worthy of a 3*. And contrary to other comments, the staff is charming, smiling and available. Time stops for a meal and it’s rare!!!

Wir sind mit unserer Tochter am frühen Abend (17.30 Uhr) gekommen und haben nach einem Rosé aus der Region gefragt. Es gab keine entsprechende Beratung. Wir fragten, ab wann die Küche geöffnet sei und erhielten 18.30 Uhr als Antwort. Als wir um 18.30 Uhr bestellen wollten, sagte die Dame, sie seien ausgebucht. Sehr unfreundlicher Service. The place is nice, unfortunately the menu has been oversimplified... basically only the great classics remain, which are undoubtedly also the most profitable... fondue, perch and entrecôte... Not a very interesting menu so, too bad, not so long ago we found dishes that were a little out of the ordinary such as frog legs, marrow bones and other originalities that we don 't necessarily cook at home... the same goes for the desserts. Disappeared, undoubtedly sacrificed on the altar of profitability, a manager must have gone through this...

What a disappointment to give 2 stars to a place that we love... Simple place, simple product, sometimes frozen but who cares, the terrace is so cute and the waiters are so welcoming! Finally... warm when the manager is not around... yelling at the waiters right under our noses because they served too much wine and telling them that we have to think about profitability, I've never seen that! Already very poorly received at the Greek place next door by this same manager, if I return to the Café de la Poste it is only because the service is simple, authentic and generous. Profitability is not achieved by a few lost dL but by building customer loyalty.

Wir haben kurzfristig in Cully logiert und zum Nachtessen ein lokales Restaurant gesucht. Entweder waren die guten Adressen schon ausgebucht oder in einer Preisklasse, die nicht unseren Vorstellungen für diesen Abend entsprach. Im Café de la Poste mit einer Gartenterrasse auf der anderen Strassenseite fanden wir noch einen Tisch. Wir bestellten natürlich Filet de perche meniere und dazu einen schönen Dezaley. Der Fisch war ok, aber ehrlich, ich hatte schon viel besseren Eglifilet im Lavaux. Am Dezaley gibt es gar nichts auszusetzen, für mich eines der besten Chasselas der Region. Der Service war ok, da gibt es eigentlich auch nichts auszusetzen. Fazit: OK, in Ordnung, aber nicht zwingend ein... Visualizza piatti
