Very cozy, small tapas bar not far from the Neckar in Heidelberg. Very friendly service, good wines, no 08 15 tapas, but special treats. A Mediterranean restaurant that is fun.

Geht für den Preis besser... wir haben heute Ewigkeiten auf unsere Vorspeisen und Hauptgerichte gewartet obwohl der Laden ziemlich leer war und die Größe der Hauptspeise (Thunfischtartar) sah so aus, als ob vom Wochenende keine Waren mehr übrig waren. Es war ein schöner Abend mit tollem Wein, aber wegen Essen und Service würde ich nicht mehr kommen.

Nur für ein Getränk da gewesen aber so freundlich behandelt worden dass es eine Bewertung wert ist. Oft haben Service keine Zeit oder Lust einen kurz an einem für etwas später reservierten Tisch zu platzieren. Wir waren durstig und konnten so schnell etwas draußen trinken da es sehr heiss war. Good atmosphere, friendly helpful staff, especially if you don't know German (our waitress translates both menus for us extremely helpful if there is no English menu). Many wine options, tapas and main dishes. We ordered the filets of Rumpsteak as tapas that was very beautiful. For our net: duck fillets with vegetables. European bass with a single prawn on the top of the Risotto. 200g medium size steak with bacon wrapped vegetables and potatoes. We enjoyed our meals very much.

Wir wollten etwas Neues ausprobieren und wurden sehr positiv überrascht ! Der Gasthausname steht eher für bodenständiges Essen, tatsächlich werden raffiniert zubereitete Tapas gereicht. Das gilt sowohl für die Art der Zubereitung, als auch die Präsentation auf Teller oder Platte. Das Auge ißt ja auch mit und kommt hier voll auf die Kosten. Wir hatten z.B. das Rumpsteak in Portwein, das butterzart und perfekt abgeschmeckt war. Empfehlenswert auch das Rotbarbenfilet oder das Lachstartar. Die Zutaten sind von guter Qualität . Beeindruckend ist die Weinauswahl. Leider war auf der Karte kein spanischer Rosado zu finden. Auf Nachfrage kam vom Inhaber sofort eine Empfehlung. Da wir unsicher waren,...
