"A Tuesday lunch (online booking) for 1pm for myself and my parents. My father is Diabetic so we need to make sure he eats on time, hence the booking. Booking wouldn't have been necessary otherwise. I haven't lived in Milton Keynes for 27 years and was visiting the folks. Really impressed with the menu (it's essentially pub fayre) but with a huge amount of choice! I wanted to try their rotisserie chicken but I also wanted ribs. They had a menu item which had both! Result! The sage and onion fries were tasty (and a bit different) the accompanying gravy pot was excellent and just what the dish needed. It would've been a bit dry without it and I love dipping my fries in gravy! We were seated quickly, served politely and the food came fresh and really pretty promptly. We all really enjoyed what we'd ordered...parents went for Scampi and Fish&Chips. The free salad bar was superb, tonnes of choice! The only downside for me, is that it's pretty dark inside and the furniture (some chairs) were a bit grubby. They've definitely seen better days and the toilets were closed. The signage was terrible and a customer told me that I had to use the ladies. After eating the ribs I only needed to wash my hands. I'd certainly make a return visit."

Love a Harvester and pleased to see normal service has resumed on their self-service salad bar. Love the free refills too. Always great for an all round menu with huge selection. Great family restaurant too.

The restaurant is lovely, the staff were lovely, and the food was delicious. The only thing I would like to see changed, is more mini desserts. I don't like blackberries, and I'm not a big fan of brownies, I did try the brownie, but didn't like it.

Great meal, very happy with the service on the night and the timing of the starters, mains and deserts. There were 10 of us eating and we never felt like we were waiting too long for our order. The waiters/waitresses were very polite and helped us arrange balloons and banners for our arrival and worked with us to bring the cake out when we needed it, excellent service!

Fantastic and friendly service. Afew people stood out to me, during my time there with my family and friends. The main person to make such a positive and long lasting impression was a lovely lady called Jordan. She always had a warm and welcoming smile on her face and was brilliant with the service and tending to our needs. Will definitely be coming again! Thank you to the restaurant and their staff!!

Went to Harvester last night with my family, haven't been in years. It definitely gone down hill. We were sited next to two untidy tables full off unfinished food, serviettes on the floor, it was not pleasant to sit there for 30minutes before somebody came to clear it out, oh and forgot to pick up dirty napkins off the floor. There was hardly any salad, most of trays sauces were empty and it was 6pm, rolls were not fresh, looked stale, my daughter had one bite and said they didnt tasted fresh. Pepsi tasted flat, couldn't drink it. Steak was ok but too grisly and lukewarm and halloumi again lukewarm, only chips were hot. The place also looked very understaffed. Sorry, but I wont be going ther...

Horrible. Worst harvester I have ever been to in my life. Never go to this branch the staff need help. Awful experience at this place a member of staff with no communication skills and disgusting customer service. Avoid going here it's certainly below average and the members of staff are extremely pompous ignorant. . Usung sarcasm . Being passive aggressive . Increasing the tone in their voice . 0 professionalism . Not having a welcoming demeanor . Disgraceful attitude Members of staff in a workplace should never bring their emotions into work and take out their personal issues on a customer. You should always hold your composure have the utmost decorum. This woman was ill mannered and needs...

What was great was the Red Devil sauce. What you can improve on is your staff, food and atmosphere. Staff, I have a dairy allergy and was never asked if I have one. However the staff member whom took our order asked two other tables in ear shot. They also were leaning backwards on the baby bottle heating station while taking our order as if we're mates in a pub. Food. Bland, just bland no amount of sauce could have saved my ribs. Atmosphere. Just chaotic, staff swearing in earshot of customers. Those on a date placed next to huge families which meant we could barely talk to each other. A tad bit of common sense would be no to put a party of 2 next to a party of 10. Also the decor hasn't been...

"Absolutely average restaurant. Dirty bamboo table mats and super dirty windows, kinda sad to look out of them. Impatient service, who under 6 minutes 5 times came back trying to pressure me to take my order. I was confused as I thought it was a restaurant not a fast food place. Silly me who used to live in Japan though the menu is just like there, with pictures. How wrong I was...So getting my phone to have a look at their website, what kinda different that in the restaurant menu card one. When I tried to ask for reconditions, I didn't get any, she just straight away took the last what I asked. The steamed algae was very nice, but my noodle soup was a big surprise, as I have no idea what's roasted (burned) pepper and massive chunks of onions doing there? It's supposed to be sea food, but instead just some burned vegetables scared with frozen octopus, mussels and mini calamari rings poured up with chicken broth. So yeah, kinda disappointing. Drink wise I asked the waitress do they have any tonic water as it isn't listed on the menu card, she looked at me like I am a weirdo. I asked for Roku gin what is my favourite. On the receipt was counted as an extra pound because Japanese. Lol, no comment. Getting the drinks, from other restaurants you get the spirit on the rocks in the glass and front of you they pouring the mixer drink from the mini bottle. Here not, just straight away together as it comes. Oh and don't bother asking without lemon, because you are getting one either way. So Akasaka restaurant did not become my favourite one. Once and last. Easily can be forgotten. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: £20–30 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4"
