We delighted our palate with a very well-known dish: Fish and Chips and craft beer on tap and everything seemed delicious and the environment very comfortable. Was downstairs for a couple of drinks, lovely old wood panelled pub with bags of character and a real fire. Simple and very cosy

Quirky is an understatement for this pub, well worth a visit. I can't comment on the food, but the restaurant area was set out very well

Food was good but took ages to arrive. Some of the staff were lovely and helpful others were totally disinterested and miserable. The quality of the food saved the day.

Fantastic place, unrivalled architectural interest and atmosphere: plenty of history. Food is good but you are paying a premium for location and experience. I prefer it as a venue for a conspiratorial drink, but on the rare occasion of a meal here, we always enjoy it.

Great traditional pub with cosy corner. Just make sure a member of staff is not hogging it. Not tried the food, but great atmosphere and good local ales on tap. A gem considering its location on the one way system in Salisbury. Not the largest but worth a visit when in Salisbury.
