Il Risotto al nero di seppia è meraviglioso. L'Antipasto Lampara è buono, un po' esotico e piccante. Non mi è piaciuto tutto, ma se sei curioso e ami i frutti di mare, è il piatto da provare.

Come già detto da tutti, l'atteggiamento generale qui è poco accogliente e, a meno che non ti capiti Nona come cameriera, è improbabile che tu veda un sorriso o ti senta benvenuto. Il cibo è accettabile, ma abbiamo mangiato meglio in molti altri ristoranti, e le urla dalla cucina, udite nella sala da pranzo interna, sembravano un'uscita comica da Curb Your Enthusiasm, senza Larry David nei dintorni per rendere il momento divertente!

Abbiamo trascorso più di una settimana a Monterosso e ogni mattina vedevamo lo Chef Ciak con braccia piene di ingredienti freschi. Il pesto era delizioso, la pasta perfetta e il ricco Seafood Ciak era anche molto ottimo. Il cibo era da cinque stelle; il servizio, da due o tre; non era affatto scortese, ma semplicemente più lento rispetto al già rilassato ritmo del servizio locale; in effetti, abbiamo aspettato quasi trenta minuti solo per pagare il conto. Mi è piaciuto assolutamente. Mia moglie è piuttosto difficile da accontentare, ma questo posto l'ha conquistata. Abbiamo mangiato qui due sere di fila. Una delle visite è stata una seconda cena dopo una cena così così poco distante qualche ora prima. I gnocchi al pesto erano favolosi (lei li ha ordinati in entrambe le visite). Ho la forte impressione che anche gli spaghetti al pesto siano favolosi. Ho scelto gli Spaghetti Ciak (in entrambe le occasioni) ed erano incredibili. Entrambi i piatti erano porzioni abbondanti.

Way over priced! They end up seating most of the guests outside to entice people to come in. We sat inside, right next to the kitchen, where we got to see the chefs cook. It took about 30 minutes after we were seated, for the waiter to take our drink order. It probably took another 20 before our food was served. Everything seemed to be either undercooked or over cooked. The gnocchi was pasty, the prawns were over cooked, and the swordfish was bland and tough. Everything was overpriced and the spritz was enough to gag you. We even saw the chef taste his food with his hands, no washing in between, licking and re-dipping them into various dishes. This is the best place we've eaten in Italy (so far), period. My boyfriend and I have visited Lake Garda, Milan, Verona, Venice, Lucca, and Florence- this place tops it all. A winning combination of lively service and food quality flavors makes this restaurant a 5-star experience. We actually ate dinner here twice on our 3 night stay in Cinque Terre. That's how much we liked it- we started and ended our trip with what we considered the best. Our server/host, Antonio is quite the character- he goes from dead panning jokes to whistling tunes to fist-pumping to the church bells.
