We returned to La Scuderia for a great dinner. Always glad to return because the food and service is just very good. Good sized grilled shrimps and all around tasty food. I ordered the Gnocci with Truffel for my first course.

Simply elegant, greeted by the friendly staff and the owner who presents the verbal spoken menu to you. You get a basic selection of 5-7 dishes each, for starters, pasta, seafood or steaks. Everything is super fresh, prepared with perfection. Unbelievable great taste. Great value for your money as well. I felt I have to move in, or at least near by, to enjoy best Italian hospitality everyday!

Tucked away in a quiet road off the beaten track. Definitely one of the better restaurants I have been to in Frankfurt. This is a real restaurant with a short menu beautifully cooked. I have barbecued squid and then turbot with a truffle pasta as primi liatris. Great Italian food and wine list. Good atmosphere. The only downside is the service albeit the food was not slow, it just wasn't the gregarious and friendly Italians you find in Italy. A Frankfurt version of Italian bordering on the rude and unfriendly. Rather short and no small talk ... but not to detract from an excellent evening overall. Visualizza piatti

We have tried every resteraunt on this little strip, they are all good, but La Scuddera is probably the best.It's quite large but has a more New York feel than modern day Italian, service is efficient, not unfriendly but bordering on perfunctory.There was no menu, we were offered a choice but without prices, so we knew that meant pricey, but we were happy with that. The place was busy and the service is not rushed, the food is very good. The only disappointment is that once our main courses were cleared away, while we were in no rush, we were left unattended, with the waiters concentrating on a large table of bankers/finances next to us. La Scuderia has become a home away from home for me in Frankfurt over the past few years. I find it to be Frankfurt's finest restaurant, with real food (not an amalgamation of ingredients on a plate), and a manager who greets all the clients with a wonderful smile, as though they were guests coming to dinner at her home. Once seated, she asks what I'm in the mood for then matches those desires with the day's freshest ingredients and fashions a meal for me. We went to la Scuderia on Saturday night and the place was pretty packed (always a good sign). The ambience is that of a bustling and noisy Bistro, but always maintains the feel of a premium establishment.On this particular evening we were a foursome and as we were seated we were immediately offered an aperitif. Instead of selecting from a printed menu the various items on the menu were described to us in great detail at the table. We all chose a starter, I chose the Shrimp with Avocado to start, a small portion of pasta with Truffle shavings as an "in between" course and then the Dover Sole for the main course.
