"Beautiful. Totally unexpected We believe in a basic village restaurant, but not at all: a superb reception, the simplicity of furniture but mainly varied, radiant, subtle, with fine and unpublished flavours: bravo! Recently installed in the Region and very in love with restaurants, this one is N° 1 in value for money among already more than 30 tried (and for many very well) ! Thanks again! Small apartment: the apron of the chef a little too stubborn of fragments of his talents!!!...."

"Does everything really well. The restaurant is in an old, atmospheric building, ie. a barn. A welcoming waiter met us and gave us a table that suited perfectly. We sat inside but our table was open to the shaded exterior important in the heat we are experincing. The menu has plenty of choice and there is a compressive drinks list. We ordered pichets of white and rosé. The dos de cabillaud was the winner but the whole dourade was excellent as well. Great service, great food, great drinks. Open for lunch Friday, Saturday and Sunday"

"We have been coming here a number of times now and it is always delicious. The menu is varied and there are good choices to be had, changing with the seasons. The food is freshly prepared and they try to source the ingredients locally. We...had an assiete de charcuterie and the tataki do thon as starters, followed by a very nicely cooked piece du boucher'. Portions are generous, so we only managed to share a desert (ice cream) this time. The service is very attentive and the dishes on offer are explained very nicely. There is no rush and the old record player in the background provides a perfect ambience to the overall experience. A bientôt!"

"Ate here once during a recent visit to Bize. The restaurant has recently changed hands. The room is lovely, with lots of interesting old photos of the village on the walls. There was no-one else in the restaurant when we went in - actually, it was never busy for the whole week we were there... The menu is varied and reasonably priced. Starters of local ham salad and pumpkin velouté were excellent, as was my cod main course. However, my partner's steak required a fair bit of chewing! All in all, it was an alright meal but the atmosphere was sadly lacking. I hope it does get busier because it has the potential to be a very decent restaurant. We may revisit next summer."
