"This restaurant has a wonderful view towards the snow-covered Pyrenees and all the way to Cap de Creus as well as down over the valley below leading to Amer. We went up for the Sanctuary and a super walk to the 'Enchanted Rocks ', and after the walk looked into the restaurant on the off-chance they could accommodate us without a reservation at 13:20 on a Sunday! The manager was very helpful and laid a table for us at a window with no fuss. It took a while for them to take our order as they were very busy, but once the order was taken the food arrived promptly and was very good, especially the starters (seafood salad and escalivada con anchoas). The service was excellent throughout, and the restaurant was light and bright and airy, making the most of the great location. Price was 22€ per person all in, not unreasonable for a Sunday in such a location, it is more like 16€ on weekdays. Note there is limited parking at the sanctuary and the access road is steep and winding. Approach from Olot on the C153 via Las Preses and St Esteve d 'en Bas heading for Coll de Condreu, and turn off right signposted Sanctuari de Salud. An alternative route from the coast goes on the C63 via Angles and Amer towards Olot and turns left onto the C153 at the roundabout near St Esteve d 'en Bas. After lunch we drove on to Coll de Condreu and turned left there to Santuari de El Far. Here there is another spectacular view of almost 300 degrees from a cliff promontory. There are picnic facilities and a snack bar as well as a Catalan restaurant (not yet tried, it looks a little dark)."

"Hemos estado este fin de semana y todo genial , las habitaciones muy confortables y bonitas , no les falta detalle con amenities , cafetera con capsulas , zapatillas de cortesia , secador de pelo , espejo de aumento ,toallero electrico .... el hostal- hotel está muy bien decorado , se nota que cuidan los detalles , nos encantó la biblioteca , pasamos un buen rato leyendo al lado de la chimenea.El desayuno genial y cenamos en el restaurante que es también muy acogedor y donde además comimos muy bien , el trato muy cercano y amable , Lo recomiendo 100% , además el pueblo de Rupit es encantador ."

"We have gone my partner and I to spend the day to rupit and it has been the first restaurant we have seen to eat and there we have stayed. we have ordered menu and first we have eaten pot filled with goat cheese and canelones (with a supplement and it has been a very good choice. it was all very good and it is noticed that it is homemade food. second we have ordered veal burger and roasted chicken in the oven and it was all amazing. with dessert equal, we ordered Catalan cream and it seemed to us that it was very good. we loved the site, the kindness of the staff, the speed with which they serve you, the food and the amount they give you. We will certainly come back. and we have eaten with drink and bread for both."

"this bakery and cafeteria is installed in a building whose construction date dates from 1806. is in charge of a family that was established in rupia in 1969 of olot, where they performed the same work since 1957 in a wood oven. they begin to produce new products prioritizing the bread of pagès and the coca of forner, the only ones that occurred in the area until their arrival. to these were added the cream cake, angel hair, cramps and pine nuts, handmade cookies, sweet cakes and others. to the place where we see it currently moved in 1986, but if it varied its way of working this third generation of baker artisans with the passage of time were expanding the diversity of products incorporating also excellent sausages with the maria carmen brand that distinguishes them: butifarra de perl, butifarra negro and cheeses of first quality that have been with a gold medal of the lactium. honey bees of own bread, olive oil, etc. In the cafeteria we had an excellent coffee with pumpkin coke that was very exquisite. the place is carefully attended and is highly impeccable."
