"Best avoided if you get an email offer in this case it was an offer for free birthday deserts however when you open the email it does not make clear this had to be ordered at the same time as main courses. So we ordered drinks and main course in the app. Then went to the bar to redeem the free dessert offer and very conveniently told “you should have ordered at the same time as the main”. Manager clearly could not be bothered as they were busy chatting to the kitchen staff. Even when I was told it’s in the t&c’s and after scrolling through the whole email I pointed out you needed to go right to the bottom of the email to find these t&c’s in tiny writing! Which is hiding behind the small print. Oh yes and apparently, the manager then told me, I could not use the app for the dessert code and would have to talk to a member of staff but of course I had used the app so not needed to engage with a staff member. Sorry Greene King you need to up your game and not hide behind small print and perhaps find staff who are a little bit more empathetic and understand why you did not know what you needed to do to redeem the birthday offer. Happy birthday to me. Well obviously not at the Norwood !!!!!!"

Better than your average Greene King pub. Good food, friendly staff, nice beer garden. Be careful of the parking restrictions in place though don’t be stung with a parking ticket thinking you can park for free.

It was my first time visiting and needless to say I will definitely be returning! The staff greeted the party with welcoming smiles and the food was delicious! I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of visiting

A really lovely pub. The staff are really good and attentive. Great service. My food was great. There's a fun pub quiz on Thursdays. The wine, beer and cider is good. It's just a lovely pub. Nice beer garden. Good location at the top of Bath Rd. Very nice.

I had a birthday celebration as a surprise. Staff very welcoming and were part of the surprise. Food was lovely. Hot. No delays in feeding our group of 10. I have been there quite a few times and generally love the atmosphere. Garden in the summer is buzzing Staff keeping up with clearing tables and making sure everyone is OK.

We've been taking part in the Thursday quiz for several months and its been great fun until recently. If you want to take part in the quiz but are only drinking then you are restricted to the bar or raised area. Understand the need for the pub to encourage dining but last night was awful crammed in, had to stand at a table as no chairs available whilst the restaurant area remained largely empty. Numerous people left. Not the staff's problem at all but we really didn't feel welcome.

New Management Team Great Service ! Visited the Norwood Arms this evening and we were well very looked after by Drew and Simon. Food quality was excellent and can highly recommend the shared nachos, chicken schnitzel and sticky toffee pudding (which was awesome). The new management team seemed very motivated, and keen to make the most of the facilities and options that the Norwood Arms offer. The garden is especially good in the summer although the garden bar was not open much this summer which was a shame. Definitely a lot to recommend whether coming for something to eat or just meeting for a drink. We will gladly return !
