Visited for the 3rd time. 1st time having Sunday lunch, had the lamb which was beautiful, and loads of it. Good veg and Yorkie. Brilliant value 3 courses for £11.95

This is my second visit here and the food was equally as good, hot, tasty and excellent value. The service is also absolutely top notch with really friendly staff. Special mention to Claire who couldn't do enough for us and the lovely pleasant jake. I would 100% recommend this place.

This was our Christmas Lunch so really looked forward to seeing distant friends,The table allowed us to chat[it was round]Lots of choice,I had spicy soup and chicken with a pepper sauce.Nobody had any complaint and my grandson loved it as some portions were large so he helped finish them,The service was perfect,timely and unobtrusive. Visited here tonight as part of my belated Birthday present and wow what a place!! Food was amazing and the staff went above and beyond for us, so friendly and the service was first class, very warm welcome as soon as we entered!! Thank you to Claire and the rest of the staff who made our evening perfect. We'll see you again in the future.

I ordered a pepperoni pizza yesterday for collection told it would be ready at a specific time , when I arrived for collection I had to wait 10 minutes before it was ready. Not much point in asking when you want it for if they just cook it when you arrive. Then when it did arrive I have never seen such a pathetic pizza 9 skimpy pieces of pepperoni on a full size pizza, when I complained I was told that was the normal “ration” they would not do anything about it . RUBISH

Went for a lunchtime special. The three course meals are very good for the price, however place needs a tidy up. I’ve been going here for years. I loved it when it was Vera Italia! It just seems like the place lacks atmosphere. It’s gone so minimalist that everything is so grey and white, it’s oppressive. It could do with some colour. I wouldn’t like to see the kitchen if the toilets are anything to go by. Broken taps and filthy floors and skirtings. Service was good and staff friendly, but think it could do with a good clean. Really enjoyed our meal at Oli&Joes! We went during the week on a nice day, and it was pretty quiet. The bruschetta was so delicious and just as expected, plenty of tomatoes, onions and balsamic vinegar the potato skins were also delicious, especially for £3.95! I had a risotto for my main, and my partner had a lasagne. The risotto wasn’t my favourite (something was missing not quite sure what, still nice enough though), however the lasagne was so delicious and I wish I had it as well! Service was also super quick and staff are lovely. Will certainly return

Visited this restaurant several times but felt the food and staff weren’t as good as when it first opened so haven’t been for over six months. This changed last night, everything was perfect. Three different starters, simple but beautifully presented and full of flavour. Main courses were fillet steaks cooked to perfection (one medium and one blue), the king prawns which came with it were huge and juicy, with the price being so much cheaper than you would expect to pay, however the quality, most definitely 100%. I was looking forward to Oli Joe’s because, from the outside, it seemed to promise authentic Italian dining and a perfect place for our celebrations, but unfortunately, the character inside of the restaurant didn’t live up to my expectations at all and the atmosphere was rather flat and uninviting. A lovely, traditional menu without any of the usual surrounding charm you’d expect to go with it. The service and quality of food on offer both deserve to be matched with a bit more of a formal environment, in my opinion.
