"Wow! What fantastic food! The best pasta we had during our stay in Verona! It's a shame we couldn't go back... We didn't have a reservation but was able to get a table for 4 as soon as it opened at 7pm for 90mins, we were so lucky as they were turning people away so would highly recommend booking. Two of the dishes were without tomatoe sauce and they tasted amazing! Service was fantastic and we weren't rushed at all. I asked for a recommendation for a red wine to have with my pasta and it was always fantastic! Per me, uno dei luoghi più autentici che ho provato finora. Piccola e accogliente taverna di legno, senza essere turistica, in un piccolo vicolo che è facile da andare inosservato. Raccomando i deliziosi bigoli con acciughe e uva passa, così come i vari antipasti di salsicce e polpette. Abbiamo scelto di sbagliare con le lasagne vegetali! We took 4 meatballs, two of spinach, one of cheese and pepper and one of horse meat. All very good. As a first course we missed the amarone risotto for 2, all very tasty and plentiful. All obviously accompanied by two glasses of local red. Lastly we tried the tiramisu (spectacular) and the Russian cake and two coffees. All very good and very friendly staff. To try.
