"I personally have had very good experiences and think that one should behave as a guest in such a way that one would like to be hosted. This is especially directed against these unfair reviews of absolutely unconscious.. However, without you it would be just half as funny to read reviews.. We can only laugh about it. But I wish those that at least a small bit of courage will find back to them to tell directly at the table what does not fit. We had a completely successful evening here (Service mega friendly, food delicious and the boss very dedicated and also friendly). Keep going and don't let those idiots pull you off!! "I almost gave 4 points because the most restaurants in Reit im Winkl are not good and offer too many different dishes! (Unfiortunately, we had no chance to go to "Dorf Stadl" where the food is probably very good!) The staff was friendly and recommended some day specials, whereof I chose the pumpkin soup as starter. It was very tasty with curry and coconut milk and fine pumpkin seed oil on top. As main dish I chose a pizza which was made in the italian way what I liked. A more soft and thin pizza base.My girlfriend chose Teufelsfleisch. The beef stripes were really medium as ordered and the potatoes and sauce were tasty.The recommanded wines were good.Price level is cheap.Soup, 2 x 1/4 l wine, pizza, meat dish and an espresso for less than 40€.Some little minuses: - the menu is very messy and the English translation is honestly not good. But it was nice that they had an English menu at least :)There were many couples sitting with strangers at tables for 4 persons. I would recommand to book a table for two persons in advance!Really recommandable."

"We stop at this beautiful inn surrending by mountains when we were driving the deutch Alpenstraße. We had also a delicious dinner and a great bavarian local beer at their restaurant. The hosts were very friendly and took the time to explain what we could...do in the area. I will recommand this inn and restaurant to anybody driving by, you won't regret it!"

"We have been to the restaurant Lenzenhof for one dinner last week during our skiing holidays. It looked nice from the outside and so we went in. Interior was warm and welcoming and maybe what you would expect from a typical restaurant in this area.However the owners are not Germans, they originate from eastern Europe. I am not saying that it is a bad thing, just mentioning so that people understand that the food is not typical bavarian. The menue has many dishes from eastern Europe like Hungary or Croatia. They are of course good but it is not typical for a bavarian restaurant. Still they have many local specialities.I ate a Hungarian Roast, my fiancee had tenderloin pork. The food was very good and drinks as well. That leads me to the downturn of this restaurant, the service. The owner family themselves waits the tables. Until ordering food and drinks for the first time everything is ok. But they do not care for the guests already eating and wanting more drinks. People actually had to stand up and go to the main room where the bar is to order their drinks.This was the only thing to improve in my opinion. Compared to the Unterwirtsalm (another restaurant in Reit im Winkl) prices are more reasonable."

"warum eine Reservierung nötig was verstehe ' ich nicht, da alle Räume nur sehr mäßig besetzt waren. Die Karte war sehr übersichtlich und sehr teuer. Das Essen war sehr gut, obwohl ich beim servieren kein Fleisch auf dem Teller hatte und es nochmal in die Küche musste. Eine kleine Entschuldigung in Form eines Dessert oder eines Getränke gab es nicht. Den größten Kretikpunkt sehe ich aber in den unmengen an Fliegen im Restaurant. Es ist sehr lästig, mit 20 Fliegen um sein Essen zu kämpfen. Mfg"
