"I visited Primo two years ago, and I am writing this review now because, to be honest, I had chosen to forget about the terrible experience. My family and I decided to try Primo for a budget-friendly pasta meal. While we weren't expecting a five-star experience, I often eat at other budget Italian restaurants that are consistently good. However, the customer service at Primo was awful. The waitress handled a simple request about a bottle on our table in a rude and disrespectful manner, making us feel uncomfortable for the rest of the meal. The utensils were dirty, but I didn't want to deal with the waitress again, so I didn't complain. The cannelloni I ordered had a strange aniseed flavor and the meat seemed to be of poor quality. I couldn't even eat half of it because it tasted so bad. We left without ordering coffee or dessert and do not plan on giving Primo another chance."

AVOID! Was extremely ill after our family meal out! Two of us who ate seafood dishes were showing strong signs of food poisoning 6 hours after poorly for 3 days. Sarcastic staff, rolling her eyes at my boyfriend when he asked for an extra portion, such an easy request yet she made us feel stupid. Restaurant was boiling. Christmas dinner for £25 per head was not very good. Vegetables and meal of turkey [not the white cut of turkey] there were a good selection of vegetables but everything was cold. Told waitress but no senior management came to explain [apparantly that was because we complained half an hour after the meal] most of our dinners were left Startes were great Where we were seated was really cold other parts of restaurant seemed warm enought no satisfaction from manageent again who said the heating was on at 28 degrees unfortunely not in our end probably not a second visit
