"We had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting. We decided to try the venison Wellington with dauphinoise potatoes, kale, and wild mushrooms, which we shared. As we waited, we enjoyed some homemade soda bread and butter, along with a complimentary glass of prosecco. The meal was superb and the flavors were delightful. For dessert, we both had creme brulee with rhubarb and shortbread, which was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future."

"Fantastic evening at Zaika. We haven’t been since pre Covid and were so impressed. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We like our curries and this was the best we've had in a long time. The poppadoms and pakora were perfection. The nan bread so tasty and light, the curries full of flavour and delicious. very very reasonable prices, so much so we checked we hadn't been undercharged. I cannot recommend Zaika more highly, we’ll be back!"

"Had a great meal and lovely time. Steak delicious, cooked perfectly. Great wine selection. Staff friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Not just a restaurant for an evening meal, also lunch too or a just a coffee and pastry. Bread was good which they bake their own. Before left made a booking for the following week. Shall be popping in for coffee too."

"2 bottles of wine 4 diners.. 2 Small starters shared by 4. Main dishes looked and smelled delicious. I'm pescatarian there were enough choices for me. Mushroom risotto was lovely and the ravioli with spinach cheese was amazing. The ravioli on its own didn't fill me I'd have maybe shared a side dish next time. Don't usually eat a sweet but as I'd room I did. Was very good. You have a choice of tipping with payment. Didn't like the long walk back to car but at least it wasn't raining!"

"We went to the ship inn for my son's birthday. On arrival the staff informed us that they didn't have our booking which was disappointing. The staff apologised and came up with the solution of us eating outside in the covered outside seating. I pointed out that it wasn't the warmest day to sit out, so the barstaff immediately found blankets for the colder members of our party and sat us near a heater. They came later to offer us inside seats but we declined as we were quite comfortable. The food was good wholesome home made dishes, the portion sizes were large. Everyone in our party were very happy with the service supplied at the ship inn. I'd like to add that the staff were excellent, polite, professional and a credit to the establishment. Well done to them all"
