Shame, explained I was gluten free.....contamination....my toast was served on same plate as ordinary toast. Twice I questioned desert.....couldn't trust rely on gluten free dessert. No confidence. Rooms: 4 Service: 3 Location: 4

We did not stay in the hotel, but ate at the restaurant on a drizzly October day. The fireplaces were not lit, which was a bit disappointing. One steak and ale pie was delicious, the other was a bit burnt; the cabbage, mash and gravy were quite nice. The fish and chips was excellent. Visualizza piatti

I booked small room and got room number 9. It's corner room which is next to restaurant so there was too much noise. Bathroom door was not locking , the bath glass door was broken. Room had that pungent damp smell all over. Hotel and it's staff is very nice but make sure you don't book room number 9 Rooms: 1 Service: 4 Location: 4

Location is really good, not far from the train station, the rooms were quiet and cozy, the fish and chips fresh and tasty. There's a bus stop just outside the hotel if you want to visit the nearby villages and it's a great starting point for a few hiking routes. On Sunday 12th May our holidaying group of 5 had an Australian Mother's Day lunch at the Redesdale Arms restaurant. We had the Sunday roast which was extremely delicious. The servings were very generous with the most amazing Yorkshire puds. Sincere thanks to Rob and Adam who are excellent hosts and made our visit to their pub memorable. Highly recommended.
