Indeed, no choice, no card: the menu is made according to the seasonal products, and sometimes modified each week at the option of arrivals. this strategy is explained by the eco-citizen policy, including zero packaging and zero waste, and recycling. Creativity is a passion that has never ceased to surprise us from the beginning to the end of the meal: the dishes made of olive wood made by a local cabinetmaker, the modern and warm decoration of the chalet, the presentation not to the plate but to share, the use of magnificent snails, white asparagus, bear garlic, celery. the gourmet flavors of a cuisine with accents of the terroir....The people of the service intervene in a benevolent and effective way. I can't. the accompaniment meets and the wines succeed perfectly. blind discovery is a beautiful playful experience that leads to the discovery of excellent producers and wine. We came out of this beautiful establishment, after the pass from the chef to the table, full of emotions, as to a show. Bravo to the whole Montmin inn team!"

"Restaurateur moi même, les avis que je lis sur ce bistrot me font bien rigoler!Bien sûr que les tables sont serrées! Bien sûr qu'on voit rapidement qu'ils sont débordés quand le restaurant est bondé. C'est la pleine saison, c'est un bistrot, à quoi vous attendez vous Clients?? Un peu d'indulgence pour les jeunes qui démarrent une carrière difficile ou pour ceux qui font simplement un job d'été serait la bienvenue ...Même si la restauration est un ensemble, ce qui compte vraiment c'est ce qu'il y a dans nos assiettes: rien à dire c'était parfait! Du goût, de la qualité , une cuisine authentique.Je dis bravo à toute l'équipe qui doit trimer dur au quotidien, bravo à ceux qui ont dû miser gros en croyant à leur projet car il est abouti et réussi.Il y a quand même un bémol à mes yeux , c'est la carte des vins qui n'est pas à la hauteur de la cuisine malgré que les références soient bien choisies et que les tarifs restent raisonnables. Le succès de cet établissement est mérité, je le conseille donc vivement en précisant que je ne suis ni de la famille ni un ami à Jean Suplice !!!"

"We have been in Annecy for almost one week and have not been able to find any restaurant with food we liked, all restaurants seem to serve the same limited choices. We went to L'osmose du Lac in Talloires at the end of the week and were so delighted with the restaurant, we wished we had discovered it earlier in the week. The staff were welcoming, the wine choices endless but the best part was the delicious food we had for lunch. We began with gazpacho, which was served with a lovely mint sorbet in the middle of the bowl. The gazpacho was delicious. Our main meal was the special of the day, a mixture of chicken, duck, and veal served in a wonderful sauce and vegetables. The dessert was just as wonderful as the other courses, I had chocolate mousse (although too much for one person) and my husband had poached pear in red wine. The meal was reasonably priced, especially for such good quality food and service. Thank you! The #60 bus will take you from Annecy to Talloires."

"we visited as a party of 7th after having eaten here before during a family holiday, we immediately decided to come back and take our friends with us. our waitress was beautiful and spoke well English. the atmosphere was great and was part of the reason we had returned. I ordered the steak and right away when it arrived, I could see it was a plate full of fat. I have worked in restaurants myself, hate complaining and only ever, if it is good reason. not only the steak was a fat plate, but the few small pieces I tried to eat tasty. because it was €20, my people insisted that I say something. the waitress didn't know where to sit down, she only took to the kitchen to guess that there was nothing that could be done, and that was how it was. I was offered to order another court, but already spent €20 on an insensitive court I rejected. the following day our friend was extremely uncomfortable to be sick and had an annoyed bauch. if we had been in the united kingdom, we would have reported this to the foods standards agency, but we are not sure how and who should report it in France. it ruined our friends last night in annecy when she was too uncomfortable to do something. she had steak too. it is safe to say that we will not return next year on our annual trip to annecy, and I strongly recommend that the customer service is addressed in this restaurant!"

"Really cosy and intimate restaurant in the heart of Menton village managed by only 2 people. The menu is really original, although it conserves the tradition of the region mixed with other flavours. The portions are enough to be fully satisfied at the end of the meal. Having one waiter that takes care of everything can slow down the service in the peak moments, but I don't see it as negative point, rather to an invitation to enjoy the meal and the atmosphere"
