Outside tables looked busy when we drove by, so we thought the place must be popular and good. And it was. Good food (had pizza and tagliatelle).Friendly and quick service.Free on street parking.We were so happy with the place, we even paid a second visit.

good food, especially the pizzas and a special mention for the truffle tagliatelle, salads looked delicious too. Welcoming for families, we have enjoyed several meals at Pane e Vino , two in the last week. Very popular with local people and a great central location near the river.

During our stay in werder, some local people told us about the italian restaurant which is always full and offers great italian dishes. We were amazed by the service that was offered for us, the food was very delicious and the waiters were very friendly. Very much recommended for all the everyone who stops by this beautiful island. We like to come here - the dishes are super tasty, of course Italian recipe and by changing weekly offers comes diversity into play. No upscale cuisine, but a stylish Italian restaurant! The wine tasting is also very nice - if desired. The greeting and treatment is like old friends, typical Italian, from the second visit you are almost Famiglia! The only negative point is that it is often very full and loud - but that is somehow Italian!

We were staying on the island part of Werder and came across this restaurant by chance when walking over the bridge to the mainland. Luckily, we booked a table for later in the evening as it was really busy when we returned and I doubt...we would have got one outside. Having said that, both the outside sitting are and the inside one are very pleasant. Our italian food was very good apart from the focaccia which was definitely not crispy and thin as it should be. The service was very good. Everybody friendly, smiling and efficient. A special thanks goes to Bardha who took care of us so well and with such a smile!!

Had a family dinner with friends. Ordered salads, focaccia, salmon, scampi, spaghetti Bolognese and pork medallions. To say that every dish was a cookie cutter version of what it should be is to give too much credit to the chef. The salads were not particularly...fresh and bland. The Bolognese, over cooked and the sauce a tasteless mess. The salmon was from a frozen piece of fish with the vegetables over cooked and mushy. The pork medallions were smothered in a a tasteless Gorgonzola sauce. The scampi was absolutely drenched in a thick tomato paste/sauce that was anything but fresh or homemade.
