Rose Inn - Menu

Had such a lovely afternoon in here with some friends recently, the team were friendly. Our server, Danie, was especially attentive and great fun. Tasty and affordable food and drinks with plenty of vegetarian selection! Can't recommend it enough!

We had the best early Christmas meal. Besides, the table was dressed nicely. It was also my mother's birthday. Holly was just brilliant, she presented my mother with a little cake and birthday song. It is just the best pub for atmosphere, staff and food.

Would recommend a visit to The Rose Inn if you are local, or just visiting the area. There is a great mixture of seating areas, and they serve great coffee. The Inn is located in a nice rural part of town, and there's plenty of parking. Food is lovely too.

Love this place! Great drinks, great food, and best of all, excellent staff! Super friendly and easy to talk to in a really nice and comfortable atmosphere and environment. I love to bring my dogs here to see Holly H, and she loves to see them as much as they love to see her.

Very cosy interior and great outdoor space for the chance to enjoy a refreshing beer. The staff were fantastic and very approachable. The food was excellent from my point of view and was excellently served for a big group of 9 of us. Would highly recommend as it gives a sense of a wonderful countryside pub despite the urban feel elsewhere around.

First time coming here after living in the village for a few months and it did not disappoint. Service from the outset was incredible and I’ve never felt more welcome in a new place. Food was great, in particular the mango lime chicken tacos and the burger recommendation from the waiter. If I could give 10 stars I would! Can’t wait to come back and try the roast :

Great place. I love coming here. I'll take Gizmo and he's so careful. I often come alone and I know the staff will keep an eye on him when I have to leave him. Gizmo is so pampered and I can't blame it. The dogs even have their own chair to sit. It is a beautiful and relaxing place to relax. The staff is phenomenal with all males, two legs and four. It is great that they have a menu specifically for the four-legged furry friends. I can't recommend the Rose Inn more than I do. Good work guys, you are all amazing

I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or if something else was happening, but we visited on a Sunday and waited an hour and five minutes for our main courses. About 40 minutes in, a staff member checked to see if our food had arrived and said he would ask the kitchen, but he never returned to update us. We continued to wait, assuming our meals were on their way. I ordered the fishcakes, which unfortunately arrived with parts of the coating burnt. The pub itself is absolutely charming, but the service just didn’t meet expectations.

Drive past this place since I’ve moved to Shoebury in 2020 and finally popped down and I was not disappointed! Great choice of seating areas, myself and family sat in the garden (family area) with the childrens climbing frame and slide. My 2 year old loved it and the food choices were brilliant! We had mussels and skin on fries it was beautifully cooked and came out in great timing! Staff were all really friendly and made sure we were well looked after throughout our time there! We will definitely be back! 100% recommend the mussels and pineapple gin! #delicious
