"I have known this restaurant for a long time under different ownership. The current establishment is nice and tidy, with a serving bar where you can see the staff and place your order. The coffee is excellent and the food is just as good. I ordered a breakfast roll which was top-notch. The staff are friendly and helpful. The decor is nice and the seats are comfortable. Be cautious of the steep step down into the lounge area. They also have an upstairs area. Overall, it is a first-class place to relax."

"The staff were very attentive and professional. I loved the fact that, because we'd arrived early, we were warned that we'd probably have a 30 minute wait. Fair enough we knew where we stood. The Sunday Roast was great. My friend and I had...nut roast and it was very tasty, served on lovely hot plates and accompanied with a vast array of vegetables carrots, broccoli, parsnips, potatoes. In summary, very tasty and all served in a lovely, cosy, Sunday style' atmosphere. The pub was packed a reflection of the good foo. We really enjoyed our food."

"This restaurant used to be great, but ever since the new manager took over, the service has declined. I waited over an hour and still did not receive my food, so I asked for a refund. The two women working there were very busy but still lovely as always. Ten customers walked out while I was waiting because no one came to serve them. What happened to all the staff?"

"as a native I recommend this pub in the regular very for great food and great service. Unfortunately, today was not one of these days. Clearly understated what is in order, it is mainly happening at busy times as weeks and Sunday midday. in the future in ours. drinks and food orders were taken quickly, just to wait for an hour for our food. don't get me wrong when eating finally came out, the majority of him was delicious, apart from the cauliflower cheese that didn't cheat at all, it was very tasteless and watery. if at the arrival we were informed that the waiting period would have been about an hour, we would have known what we should expect and should have been good, but that lack of communication seems to be a problem among the attending employees who had not done it, and therefore they only accused me of drinks I ordered. many thanks for this friendly gesture, but in the future a small communication goes a long way and this is only the basis of customer service. I will go back to the low-grooves in the future."
