We had our rented place not too far from this place. We liked it so much that we returned 2 times with friends. Kind of a family run small but very cozy place. Very good food and excellent welcoming atmosphere.

You wouldn't say it on the outside, but once you walk in you are swept away to ancient times. The feel of the place is absolutely the atmosphere of a large castle library. The endless books, all the frames on the walls, the large upholstered...chairs. Simply wonderful! Not unimportant is that the service was lovely and the food absolutely delicious. What a lucky girl I am to be taken to this great place!!

The athmosphere is great I felt like I was sitting in an old fashioned living room everything felt comfortable! The service was excellent the staff was very kind and professional. Great meal and great service! A cozy setting with old world charm. We had a party of 5, each having something different from the menu, and everything was great. The menu is written on a large chalk board and the waiter will explain it in...English if you don't understand German. Is it worth the cost? Yes! Even during the World Cup, the waiter took the extra step and kept us up to date on the score of the game that night. While the overall seating may appear cramped, it is very cozy once you get settled and enjoy the experience.
