"Served through a letterbox hatch, scones were given to me already with the jam and cream on in a bag! I sat waiting for my order and heard the lady shouting through the hatch! Honestly i have never seen anything like it! The cream was sliding off the jam, i didn't even have a knife to smooth it down, the jam was too much i would have rather put my own jam and cream on, a couple who came after us ordered 2 toasted tea cakes, the lady serving shouted out the back door and put them on a table there, it reminded me of a sketch from Little Britain!"

Good selection of sandwiches. Had really good, freshly prepared sandwich, eaten on the breaker. Was perfect after long walk and prep for return.

Next to the wide range of sandwiches, this is the place in Staithes for a double espresso. Wonderful situated at the sea front, run by lovely people.

We popped here for a light breakfast bite after a good Walk too from Port Mulgrave. Sausage bun for me Tuna sandwich for My wife .. Made to order very tasty, highly recommend you try it

Stopped by at Sea Drift for the famous cobble cake and was not disappointed. Made to a home made recipe it was served warm with a pot of cream and we had it back in our nearby cottage. Recommended

We had a great experience at this restaurant with a group of 4 adults and 4 children. The sandwiches were delicious and everyone agreed they were the best they had ever tasted. We enjoyed our meal on the benches overlooking the harbor and beach. This is definitely a place we will visit again. The service from the lady host was fantastic and she had a lovely smile. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Great quality food served here, outside seating or take away. The famous Coble cake is a family secret recipe , but fortunately there is a delicious gluten free version available served warm with cream..if you are in Staithes you must try a slice i also had gluten free egg mayo sandwich which was rammed with filling and salad. We enjoyed our food and coffee so much we went back on the morning we were heading home to have one more slice of Yorkshire Coble Cake....named after the small local boats

Used to love this place but now one orders through a hatch and is presented with food in a cardboard box even cake with cream on top and coffee in a cardboard cup, having been called from another hatch number 25! around the corner to collect a very unaesthetic lunch. I did protest but the very nice lady said it all worked better for the staff that way. So pleased for you but so complicated and not a pleasant experience for the customer. Sadly I used to be very loyal but this is post Covid lazy nonsense and heavy on the recycling too.
