The food was exceptional as usual. First time leaving a review and would like to point out our servers David and ashly great with kids always polite and with a warm welcome. Always been one of my favourite eateries in Aberdeen, just don't get to visit very often! Seafood is simply amazing. Not a cheap place to come, but not ridiculous either. Definitely worth a visit.

Fantastic food and drinks, excellent location, very professional and friendly staff. The scallops and the hake were delicious, and the chocolate cake yummy. Will definitely come back on my next visit.

I would give them 7 stars if I could. Exceptional service, quality and flavour. Price point for poor Aussies battling an inflated pound and deflated Aussie dollar was good. Sensational local seafood meal.

Food was decent, but far from exceptional, service relatively quick, but waitress couldn't care less, this appeared to contrast some other servers taking good care of other customers; it's going to be a while before we're back.

This is such a lovely place to try local produce. Cooked to perfection with a lovely view. We attended on a day where there was dolphins and seals in the harbour so our dining experience was extra special! Really would recommend for a special treat!

year old port stone edifice guarding the harbor for centuries has been transformed into a delightful location to dine. Great view of the coast line of Aberdeen as you watch modern day cargo ships make their way out to the North Sea. Oysters were large and briny, spring rolls and catch of the day were well prepared.

Excellent friendly and efficient staff. The food came nice and hot and everyone of the of us enjoyed the food. Oysters prawns and squid starters very tasty. Sole goujons, halibut with crushed purple potatoes, sea bass and cod main courses were all very tasty then sweets and coffee made for a very filling and enjoyable lunch. We will definitely return. X

Heading through the dock area it's a real treat to head to The Silver Darling. With views out over the water it's a tranquil venue. On a bit of a blustery day a haven to enjoy the excellent seafood (and likely excellent non seafood options). Tended to by friendly staff who don't make your experience feel rushed it's a relaxed experience. Be sure to book at peak times. Worth a visit if you like your seafood!
