We were there door the dinning expensive. Set menu and a menu that changes daily. Quality of food very good. Standard menu is what you would expect. The daily always a good so something for all tastes if your looking for more than just pud grub. Atmosphere welcoming outside dinning area beautiful. Food drinks: Great food can't fault it. Celebrating our 57 th wedding anniversary. Our daughter gave us a gift voucher so we decided to do B&B with evening meal. What a treat it was. Our Room Black Dog) catered for all our needs to a very high standard. Our meals cooked to perfection and full of flavour I had the Duck and hubby had Roast belly pork. The lemon tart so tasty highly recommended . Breakfast again top class full English . We thank the staff and management for their kindness . We look forward to another visit soon.

We decided to stop by this pub on a whim while taking a different route home, and ended up booking a table for our birthdays. What a delightful experience! The pub has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff and locals were fantastic. From the moment we walked in until the time we left, everything was splendid. We also appreciated the birthday treats—thank you for that! I can't wait to come back; the pizzas looked amazing, and I’m definitely planning to try one next time!
