"4 stars for the pub enjoyed the food (though on the higher side price wise) service very friendly but could have been more attentive. 3 stars is for the camping we had people on the pitch we had booked but saw there was plenty of space on the road side of the field and as the member of staff told us it wasn’t a busy road we camped there spent the whole night being woken up regularly by cars speeding past. No paper in loos had to use paper towels. At £30 for 2 people for a night not cheap. Avoid road side pitches unless you are a very heavy sleeper"

We had a wonderful evening last night. Our first visit, but certainly not our last. What a fantastic gem. Wonderful ambience and friendly professional staff who couldn't have been better. The food was delicious. Can't wait to come back.

Interesting place with all sorts of sport memorabilia on the walls. Had the fish and chips and was excellent. Only downside was we had ordered garlic bread which they forgot and we actually got it when we had finished our meal! It was nice though

First time visiting the Bat and Ball and was very happy, service was great, food was excellent and location was great, pub was busy and obviously popular, plenty of outside seating areas overlooking a small pond. Well worth a return visit. Service: 5 Location: 5

was not sure where to celebrate friends going 50th was recommended to this place. what a jewel we had a wonderful evening, friendly staff, tents gave a first-class service! the menu had a good amount to choose was very delicious. the ambiente and the institution of the pub were good. everything in all will be a great evening back. we had a private birthday party in the snug last night with about 30 people I can't say enough how grateful I am for all beautiful staff and landlords to make the night so pleasant and easy for us! nothing was too much annoyed from beginning to end. we had fantastic mixed plates that were enjoyed by all. highly recommend this event if you want to have a party. more huge thanks to all the staff you were young ingenious!
