"We spent three delightful nights at this charming little gem. Torcross is a serene and picturesque seaside village, featuring a few shops and dining options. Among its offerings is this fantastic café and bed and breakfast. Our room boasted a sea view and was incredibly cozy, equipped with a comfortable bed and a spacious, well-appointed en-suite bathroom. Breakfast was a true highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious food and drinks, all served by friendly and attentive staff. I can't thank Bonni and the team enough for making our stay so memorable and comfortable during these challenging times. We look forward to returning in the future, and we rate Seabreeze Café B&B: 2500/5."

"Had a lovely meal here last week. We came early so no problem to get a table at 6pm (although it did fill up while we were there). The pub is in a lovely location right on the beach with its own car park though the public car park is just across the road it that’s full. The pub has two distinct areas carpeted area next to the bar and a hard floor area which is designated as dog friendly and everyone had a dog except us. Staff were friendly and service overall was quick. There is a printed menu to look at and a blackboard with the days specials (changes essentially with the availability of the different fish they could serve). My Mom and I ordered the fish and chips and I had a portion of mushy peas. The fish was cooked to perfection and a nice crisp batter. The fish (so often cooked poorly in my opinion) were really good and obviously just cooked. My wife had the seafood platter which had a good selection of crab, prawns , clams etc and a nice salad accompaniment . I thought the price of the meals was about right for the quantity and quality of the food. We left feeling full and content"

"This is not my first time reviewing this establishment, but it may very well be my last. I have always considered Stokeley Farm Shop and Tap House to be a enjoyable spot for dining and drinking, but my recent visit following the coronation was a letdown. Despite advertising a special event for the coronation weekend, there were hardly any decorations or acknowledgment of the occasion. No one, including the staff, had dressed up, and the food (aside from the ribs) was underwhelming. The service was simply unsatisfactory. My husband had to fetch our drinks from the bar himself, and it took an almost an hour for our meals to be served - a rack of ribs and fries for him, and half a lobster for me. The ribs were tasty, but the lobster was disappointingly small and came with a lackluster salad that lacked flavor. The fries were unremarkable - I was expecting more from a chef known for their skill. We voiced our concerns about the service and were offered a free drink, which we declined. Despite not being overly busy, other diners left before us due to the lengthy wait. I have previously mentioned the need for effective management at this establishment, and that sentiment remains. While it may see a surge in tourists in the upcoming months, it is us locals who sustain these businesses once the tourists have gone."

"A shame. A mixture of potential and disappointment we left not wanting to return a 3rd time. Tried to book 4 times to no avail. Arrived to be treated with almost contempt at asking where we could sit. Fab location. Park outside of the village to avoid big problems. Bring bug repellant and tool kit for rotting tables if you intend on braving the back jungle. Lack of serviceable space outdoors. Derelict rear garden, dirty loos, unhelpful and confused staff, chef swearing at the chaos. Lost order tickets, 2 hour wait for food. Very very helpful and cheerful young kitchen assistant. A real asset to the business. Much of the food was observed as frozen supermarket food brought out from the back, heated on outdoor temporary though seemingly now permanent kitchen and presented as fresh meals. The pork which appeared fresh was however tasty. Beautiful spot but honestly not worth the hassle, wait or chaos in future. Service: 1 Location: 4"

"Beautiful thatched pub overlooking the village green, parking, beer garden. Lovely old world charm with a modern twist. We enjoyed an excellent Sunday lunch yesterday of roast beef (pave). They took the time to ask how we preferred our beef. We were not disappointed it...arrived medium rare three large thick slices with and lovely selection of fresh vegetable all beautifully cooked. Great quality food and good sized portions. Other choices of roasts were available lamb, pork or chicken. The desert lemon baked cheesecake was huge. We have been mid week and had there home cooked beef pie amazing. I would recommend you pre-book. We chatted two a large family of holiday makers who who also enjoyed their meal."
