"Not only is every single dish at The Bountiful Cow prepared expertly and to the highest standard, with meat of exceptional quality, (the steak tartare leaves no room for doubt and its deliciousness is unforgettable), but the service is as warm, generous and heart warming as the magnificent food: Cveta and her husband are worthy of a blue plaque, or even better a statue in nearby Red Lion Square, for the joy they, and their restaurant, brings to the area. Great evening at TBC. The steak was spot on. My 13 year old particularly enjoyed the rump. All very simple stuff but really well done. Service was lightning fast.

Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood-this restaurant was a lovely find during our family trip to London. Steak chips were absolutely delicious. Nice, lively atmosphere- everyone enjoying themselves. Would recommend.

Booked for a pre theatre meal for my mums 60th. Lovely little restaurant tucked away, service was a little slow however not many staff for a busy Saturday night. The food was lovely, burgers all around could not fault!

Food was delicious, the service was great too, a little off the beaten track but easy to find. The only thing we did not like was the automatic inclusion of a service charge to the bill, especially when dining with only 2 others, the server did remove when asked and we left our own tip that we considered appropriate.

Only shame is that when pub is full (ie 15 people at the bar) casual drinkers pretty much have to stand next to tables where people are eating and the noise levels are very high so along with feeling a bit closed in, one can't really hear the conversation at our table . ie too distracting. great service though. the pub does have a downstairs so maybe better eating there?
