Went in recently for a Christening and the food was seriously tasty. Especially the quiche. Will definitely return to try a roast soon! Atmosphere was good for a family oriented dining experience. Thought I would give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt due to mixed recent reviews but boy was I wrong. The 4 occupied tables upon entry should have been the giveaway, never seen a restaurant in such dire need of custom. There were only 2 meats on the carvery deck gammon and beef. The gammon was so salty and inedible. The beef was what I imagine eating leather would be like. The roast potatoes were like rocks and severely undercooked. The Yorkshire puddings were dripping in oil and also inedible. The gravy was watery and lacked flavour. Very appalled with the food.

You should have to sign a waver on entry. Place was damp, dark, depressing and generally swamp-like I reluctantly wondered over to the un attended “carvery” the meat looked like a car tire, like chewing on sandals, the parsnips could be used as windscreen wipers. The gravy was clotted and vile. Everything was microwaved. My son had a mix grill and it was indescribable what ever “chef” you have back there needs to get sacked. My 90 yr old neighbour Doris, who is blind and in a wheel chair can do a better job. Those roast potatoes can put windows through. This place needs knocking down. Visualizza piatti
