We had a great Sunday lunch here. The pie of the day (steak) was a highlight, delicious! Everyone really friendly and they are dog-friendly too, would recommend!

Affordable prices, attentive and cordial staff, varied food options with delicious choices. Impressive selection of drinks, particularly the Gin Cocktails. A must-visit if you're in the vicinity.

Well furnished restaurant with a real pub atmosphere. Really nice staff. Gluten-free dishes. We tried the roast and the rposciutto, like sweet cheese-cake. All excellent as cooking and ingredients. Great. Visualizza piatti

Met up with two friends for lunch. Tasty food, excellent service and reasonable price. Had to share pudding as quite big and full from mains course. Staff keen to please and very accommodating, Big 'E ' was lovely. Would recommend.

Fourth or fifth time we have been to The Crown. We drive up from London for a lovely Sunday roast, which has never disappointed. Owners are so welcoming, and remembers us, which is very nice as it makes you feel your not JUST a customer...

We visited last night, a little last minute after being let down by a local venue. We were greeted by kind and friendly staff who made us very welcome. The meal was fantastic, very tasty and well cooked. Could not recommend enough. Wish we lived...

The pub was not to busy and the tables were spaced nicely and all other covid-19 precautions were good. Service was great and we soon had everything ordered and it wasn't long before the starters arrived ,unfortunately one of the small bowls had cracked in...

My niece and nephew were meeting up for a family lunch with their partners. I have dined at the Crown a few times and have found the owners very welcoming. The Crown is an ideal venue for a good value home cooked meal. We hadn’t booked as it was rather an impromptu event. There were 7 of us, Suzanne organised a table promptly for our group. My husband although having popped in for a pint on various occasions hadn’t eaten here before. His verdict on his pie , mash and veg was excellent, he said best pub pie in ages. The chicken curry’s went down well. The homemade broccoli and Stilton soup was delicious. Steak and chips fab. The puddings went down well. My niece ordered the chocolate brownie... Visualizza piatti
