"Owners need to sort this out. The review is regarding the deli only. I have visited multiple times for drinks and snacks on the go. The drinks are good. But my goodness the customer service is appalling. The staff there are so rude, they need training in customer service. Every time you go in, when you order you feel an inconvenience, they talk amongst themselves even when they are serving you especially when one is sat at the counter eating her lunch of breakfast. there is no eye contact. No friendly good morning or thank you. Just that’s £4.10. Really unprofessional. They don't even take care to remember your order. My partner goes in there multiple times a week and they never remember her order. She orders the same thing at least twice a week. No care or attention.say what you like about Costa and the likes but they remember your order. If it carries on I’ll avoid completely. Lots of other locals have said similar. Shame."

"This was our first visit and both my wife and I agreed our expectations had been exceeded. There was plenty of space around our table so other conversations were not intrusive. The waitresses were very attentive and friendly so we immediately felt at ease. The menu was excellent with many tempting choices. The actual food was really well presented and the flavours were excellent. We both really enjoyed a relaxing evening with great food. We would definitely recommend and we will be booking again."

"We have eaten at Lussman's before and were pleased to go back for a celebration meal for my husband's birthday. Given a nice corner table. The starters were good but the mains choices were a little disappointing for my husband. He would have chosen the steak but only 10oz was on offer which was too big even for his good appetite. I wish that they, along with other restaurants, would offer alternative portion sizes. In the end he plumped for the chicken fricasee and really enjoyed it. I chose the cauliflower fritters but found that a bit disappointing, with a pile of indistinguishable ingredients on the plate, including the deep fried leeks which were just dry strips (I suppose I should have expected that! I can't eat things too dry and asked for some sauce. A red wine jus was duly delivered. The desserts were delicious. The service throughout was exceptionally good. Staff were welcoming, efficient and professional throughout, including when I became briefly unwell and had to take a break in the loo. (The food is absolutely not to blame. It is a digestive problem that flares up occasionally. Anyway, they were extremely helpful and solicitous. On departure they were also very good about ordering and then chasing a taxi which somehow failed to appear, standing outside with us to be sure it finally arrived. So, full marks for service and ambience, even if the food choices were a little disappointing. We will be back!"

"1) Food Quality (4/5) The pizzas are very tasty, using excellent ingredients and a lovely tomato sauce. I have to rate 4/5 only because the pizzas always seem wet/sloppy in the middle. If the bread was crispy all the way across it would be 5/5. That said, I can live with it because the overall taste/experience is a delight 2) Food Range (4/5) A slightly more interesting and eclectic range than the usual pizza restaurant offerings. However, I would like to see some more meaty pizza options. Although I do appreciate this is a pizzeria, I would also welcome some high protein sides (for example, chicken goujons or meatballs) and kiddy friendly crudités for a more balanced meal, especially for family outings 3) Service (4/5) Service generally pretty good. Service can be a bit slow when dining in, and deliveries sometimes late 4) Atmosphere (4/5) A pleasant enough venue, with lovely ambience from the wood fired oven. Tables a bit narrow and chairs a little uncomfortable. Door is opened quite often (for deliveries/collections) meaning cold air blows in quite a lot 5) Value (5/5) Food is reasonably priced, especially given the high quality ingredients (way better than the big chains) 6) Overall Verdict (5/5) This little suburban restaurant is such a gem. It creates high quality pizzas with delicious, quality toppings. I like the fact that every pizza comes out a different, irregular shape, showing its rustic, hand made heritage 7) Got to try... Osina the greens, Friarielli, are unusual and give this pizza a wonderfully fresh, earthy edge. I hope this never comes off the menu"

"Been going to this pub for 10 years without a disability blue badge! As soon as I arrived I was unwelcome and bullied for being disabled for parking on a double yellow line that I’m authorised to do so, then I was picked on for having a diesel car instead of an electric car after defending my disability I was told that my attitude wasn’t welcome after explaining why I’m disabled I was asked to prove my disability by the owner of the pub I asked to be left alone to finish my pint in peace and leave without feeling bullied and intimidated by customers, staff and the owner of this business. I’m gay too so obviously homophobic I suggest avoiding this business and go somewhere else! As a market research interviewer (mystery shopper) I’m Disgusted at the attitude, discrimination and homophobia at the cricketers at Redbourn the owner of this business should be ashamed of himself He shouldn’t be running a pub his Hospitality customer service are shocking to say the least and he needs retraining to be customer focused. I won’t be recommending I’ll be telling everyone how shallow they are to pick on a gay disabled man"
